I think it is absolutely abominable to hold up Margaret Sanger as someone to emulate! The Left has sick ideas about who is heroic and who isn’t. What I find most insulting is Margaret Sanger’s idea that the people were not valuable because someone had done what they had done but only better!

The adoration of wealth and power lies the at the root of liberalism and Margaret Sanger is their god. It is not up to any of us to eliminate anyone, that is God’s domain. To try to usurp his power, authority and glory is contemptible. He doesn’t need any help especially from a hateful woman like Margaret Sanger. She has done more to destroy than she ever did to build up. Now if they want to have a wing called, “World Greatest Villains” and put her among them, I wouldn’t have a problem.

Death of a Salesman-A Wal-Mart Tragedy

What is called Black Friday in the retail industry has indeed earned its name today. Jdimypai Damour, 34, of Jamaica, Queens was trampled to death by a mob of Wal-Mart shoppers in Long Island, New York. Before he could even open the door they broke the door off its hinges and rushed in. Police had been called prior to the store opening because of the large crowds forming outside but were called away to deal with similar situations at other stores.

There is plenty of blame to go around in a situation like this. First you got to blame the idol worshiping culture in which we live. We are no different than the Jews of biblical times and while wondering through the wilderness for forty years took it upon themselves to worship the golden calf. Our fixation with money, toys and material goods is definitely a huge part in this tragedy today.

Next, you have got to blame the retail industry for creating such a day to begin with. Their whole intent was to create a such an atmosphere that people would feel compelled to shop or else miss out on the year’s best bargains. This Black Friday phenomenon is relatively new. As a kid growing up, people did go out shopping the day after Thanksgiving. It was more out of convenience than anything else. They had the day off so they figured they would use the day to get started on Christmas. But it wasn’t like this. The malls still opened at the same time. There were no 4am openings. People did not camp outside of the building all night. It was just a typical shopping day, no great significance was added to it. But the retailers got greedy and they started crunching numbers and they realized their biggest shopping day was the Friday after Thanksgiving. So what if they could capitalize on that? What if they could cause such a hysteria that people would come in droves? And that is what they did. While there is nothing wrong with drawing in customers there is something wrong with creating such chaos that people end up getting killed!

Of course, Obama is at fault. Not sure how, give me some time to figure it out but I figure if the liberals can hold Bush responsible for starting hurricanes, then I get to blame Obama for this. In the meantime, the liberal mentality is very much to blame for this tragedy. You can’t devalue human life in the womb and think it is not going to carry over outside of the womb. You can’t say you can kill if it is convenient for you and think that kind of mindset is not going to infiltrate your thought processes on how you treat born human beings. It doesn’t work that way. Because we have no regard for human life at the very beginning stages we have lost it for everyone around us. Jdimypai Damour was a man, a father, a brother, an employee. In fact this wasn’t his permanent job. They had hired him through a temp agency. He died for nothing. This wasn’t supposed to be a war zone. He wasn’t a soldier on the battlefield. He didn’t die trying to protect our freedoms, which at least would’ve gave his death some honor and valor. He died because greedy, selfish people caring more about possessions than a human being rushed over him. No one stopping, no one slowing down. No one checking to see if he was alright. And when employees came to his aid, they were simply pushed aside.

When the employees told them they had to leave because an employee was dead, all they did was yell that they had been waiting all night and they were going to shop! And so they continued to shop! This is the kind of cold-hearted barbarism liberalism gets you. I have been on this Earth for 38 years and it still astounds me how evil and wicked people can be. I am always flabbergasted by stories such as these because for the life of me I can’t understand such utter disdain for another person’s life. As much as Obama’s policies sicken me I would like to think if I saw him on the floor dying, I would still stop and try to help him. I surely wouldn’t climb over him for a toaster oven! Shame on you New York! You ought to be ashamed of yourself! And they wonder where they get the reputation of being uncaring people. Hmmm I don’t know!

Americans Held Hostage in Mumbai

I want to start this by saying my prayers are going out for all those involved in this hostage crisis situation. So far between 100-125 people are dead. Who was targeted for these fanatical Islamofascists? Westerners. One report has no American casualties but another has two Americans missing. So it seems ol’ Joe was right, it was just his timing that was off. It wasn’t six months into the Obama presidency but 22 days. But I thought the world was going to see America as some kind of benevolent, enlightened nation for electing a radical Muslim (oops I mean “Christian.” Yeah right and I am a rocket scientist) to the office of President.

Why do we continue to iisten to these whackjob liberals? They never get anything right. There is a reason we are the Right and they’re not! Believe it or not, I am not blaming Obama for this-I had already wrote in my essay, “The Honeymoon is Over” that jihadists were not friends of Obama and celebrating his victory. But I am blaming liberals, because though this happened in India and not in the United States the liberal media tried to paint a picture of the world rejoicing at Obama’s election. Kenya declared a national holiday or so the rumor went. Still don’t know if that was true or not. But now, all the world would now be at peace because we elected the new Messiah. Of course, people with half a brain like me and the rest of Middle America knew that was utter hogwash.

So now another 125 people are dead because the liberals don’t want to hurt the feelings of these insane fanatics. How many people have to die before they start taking this Islam threat seriously? I don’t care how intolerant this sounds-people are continuously being slaughtered and liberals can care less. We need to deal with these people and not by sitting down and having tea with them and having a nice chat. And don’t sit there and tell me that I am a minority religion so I should have more tolerance for them 1) There are over 13 million people who are Mormon worldwide that is hardly a minority religion. We are the fastest growing religion on the planet! 2) There are still far more than 13 million Muslims worldwide so they are hardly a minority either 3) When Mormons start beheading people on the internet and crashing planes into buildings, then you can compare my religion with theirs! Until don’t begin to insult my religion by comparing mine to these murderers!

I hope Obama now realizes that peaceful dialogue is not an option with people like these and no matter what we do in America, we are always going to be targets. That these are not a freedom loving people and we need to stop treating them like they are. It is time to take the blinders off because if we don’t it will literally be the death of us. Not that the liberals would mind, but of course, the cowardice of the liberal ideology means they would be the first ones dead anyway. For all those suffering now, you are in my prayers. May God be with you in this time of need.

With Thanksgiving tomorrow, I wanted to take the time to say Happy Thanksgiving to all my readers. It has been such a pleasure getting to hear from you guys, even the haters. I will be taking a few days off but I will be up and back at work on the 1st of December. In the meantime, enjoy your family and don’t forget to count your blessings. We are at a crossroads in our history, we can repeat the tyranny that provoked the Pilgrims to leave their homes, or we can discard liberalism and reclaim our religious heritage. Let’s choose wisely.

God bless you, all you conservatives out there! You are the reason I am a free woman today and why my child can grow up in the greatest country in the world and achieve anything he wants to. The Myth of the Black Conservatives

I am sick and tired of people like Cornel West, Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson trying to define black conservatism for the many men and women like myself that are Black and conservative. They paint a picture of an elitist, arrogant, out of touch Black person who hates the Black skin they were born in. For years, I thought the same because of the brainwashing I received at the hands of the liberal media. Little did I know I would become one myself.

So I am here to bust some myths!

1) All Black conservatives are rich and upwardly mobile. No poor Blacks are conservatives.

Wow! So living hand to mouth like I do means I’m “upwardly mobile.” Who knew? Conservatism has nothing to do with money and everything to do with values. It is the liberals who are obsessed with money, prestige and other false trappings. They are the ones running Hollywood, they are the ones who live life in the fast lane. Most conservatives are simple, church going, law-abiding, tax-paying citizens. And for people like me on the tax receiving end of the spectrum I am forever thankful to the American taxpayer for helping survive these last 20 years and plan to do what I can to help them carry the load by returning to school and getting a career I can do that will benefit more than myself. Poverty isn’t an accurate predictor of liberalism but valuing work of any kind, especially stay at home mothers, is a good predictor of who is conservative.

2) Black conservative don’t understand the social issues facing regular Black folks.

It is actually the Black liberals who wish to stick their head in the sand, not Black conservatives. We have been talking about the devastating effects abortion has upon our community, specifically, and all we get back in return is Black liberals sticking their fingers into their ears and going “La! La! La! La! I can’t hear you!” Never mind that 3 out 5 Black babies or sixty percent of Black children die in the womb! That is not racism, that is not worth mentioning, that is not worth fighting. Our children are not valued and they have no concern over what happens to them. They are just a bunch of ghetto punks anyway, who needs them!

They don’t want to hear how welfare has not been a boon to Black folks but has done more harm by removing the father from the home, by penalizing them for getting married, by making them choose between self-sufficiency and their medication. They don’t talk about how we are letting our kids down by not educating them sufficiently. We would rather give the a PSP then a future Ph.D. The Oreo Complex (hating Black children for being smart and telling them they are acting “White”) has done more to hurt our children then slavery, segregation and racism could ever hope to do. In fact, it is Black liberals who have perpetuated this ugliness in our community. The liberals have long fallen out of touch with reality, let alone the Black community.

3) Black conservatives are pawns of the White establishment and are racist against their own people.

Really how many Black conservatives sit there and address other Blacks by the slang term, “My nigga?” Yet it is done everyday by those who are a lot more liberal. That denotes far more racist attitudes against their own people then anything a Black conservative has done. They say well conservatives are not for affirmative action. And it is still needed to level the playing field. I can understand that but what conservatives preach is far more equitable. Conservatives say, Blacks are no less intelligent or inferior to White people and they should be held to the same standards in regards to employment and education as anyone else. To promote affirmative actions is to say the are incapable of being judged on their own merit and should only be judged on their skin color-that is wrong. This is the way I see it, race should be the LAST factor in determining contracts, scholarships, etc. If you have two candidates, one poor Black one and one rich White one and they have similar grades, similar extracurricular activities, similar work experience but you want to give the poor Black kid a break in this instance, I don’t see it as reverse discrimination. He has earned it just as much as the other candidate. It only becomes so to give an inferior candidate preferential treatment based on nothing but their sex or ethnicity.

4) Black conservatives, like their White counterparts, are nothing but Christian bigots who want America to be a theoracy.

Liberals are no fans of those professing faith and the reason they are so resistant is because their own lives are filled with so much sin that they don’t want to have to look at their own lives and change according to God’s will. The founding fathers were overwhelmingly Christian and as such America started out as a “Christian theocracy” since most of its governing bodies and rules were based on biblical principles. If being a Christian nation is so evil, we did we become the fastest growing and most successful nation in the world? Why are people still breaking their necks to get into our country? You don’t see them risking life and limb to break into El Salvador! It is exactly because of our initial governance by God that we have the prosperity we have today. It was when we started taking God out of everything that this country went downhill. If liberals could read maybe they could read the Bible and begin to understand that success and failure of a nation and its people is dependent on its belief in the Almighty. This has been true since the beginning of time but liberals refuse to learn history’s lessons.

As far as the bigotry goes, it is the Liberal Left that consistently promotes prejudice for those who don’t think like them. It is the Left that thinks so low of Blacks that they think they are incapable of achieving any kind of success without a hand out from them. It is not the conservatives who display bigotry, it is the conservatives that fight against it while the liberals consistently try to promote stereotypes. Lastly, it is Christians who are more open to those who are not Christian than the secularists are of those who have faith. It is because of the persecution of Christians that other faiths found asylum in our land. The secularist would never have put out such a red carpet.

In closing, Black conservatives are not an anomaly in the Black community, we are the Black community, it is the Black liberals who are sorely out of place and out of touch.

It’s My Country, I Hate If I Want To

Now this is not going to be an article on the anti-American sentiments of the Left. We already know they hate America and why they just don’t pack up and move to their beloved Netherlands already and leave us true patriots to reside here I will never know. What I want to talk about is hate crime legislation and the continuing effort to criminalize a person’s thoughts. The whole premise of hate crime legislation is not one of tolerance but one of Orwellian mind control. The people who support hate crime legislation are no different than that little boy who sent everyone into the cornfield because he didn’t like what they were thinking on the “Twilight Zone.” (Only a radical leftist could look at that episode, not shudder and think, “Hmmm how could I do that in real life?” )

The right to hate is just as fundamental to the human experience as the right to love. Hate gets a bad rap a lot of the time but it is actually good in a lot of respects. If I didn’t hate getting burned I might go around playing with matches. If I didn’t hate being cold, I wouldn’t cover myself when the temperature dropped and get sick and if it is cold enough, even die. If I didn’t hate rap music, I would be liable to think all Black women are whores and Black men are thugs. So hatred is not necessarily a bad thing. It can actually be beneficial. To try to wipe it out through legislation is ridiculous and downright dangerous. You don’t increase tolerance for others by wiping out hatred, you do it by increasing knowledge. The more you know about people, religions and cultures, the more apt you are to be open to experiences of all kinds.

The irony of hate crime legislation is that the more you try to eliminate hate, the more you increase it. If those whackjob, gay militants want to hate Mormons then fine! Let them. What they don’t get to do in the name of hate is extortion, intimidation and harass people because they don’t like them. I hate Obama, you don’t see me making death threats against him. (Actually, I am a bit afraid that he might end getting shot in the head, die and then come back three days later proving he is the anti-Christ. LOL ) In any case, hatred is not something that can be legislated against. While violent acts can be, we shouldn’t be getting into punishing people for their thoughts. Our thoughts are private domain and should not be accountable to the state. Our thoughts are only accountable to God himself.

Hate crimes also don’t much to uphold the value of human beings. If I can get myself killed by a Nazi I shall receive justice. Should some Blood or Crip who happens to be my color kill me-then no! It is ridiculous! The motivation of the crime should only be allowed as to explain why the person may have committed the crime but it should not be a factor in sentencing. Most serial killers who kill do not do it out of hate but out of a twisted pathology in which they derive enjoyment in killing. Should we hold them less accountable because they didn’t “hate” their victims. Hate is so subjective and personal. Sometimes we have valid reasons for hating someone-the guy who killed my father is a prime example. Sometimes we do not. In any case, it is not up to the state to decide what I think or what I feel. As long as I am acting in accordance to the laws, they need to keep their laws out of my mind.

We cannot forget hate speech as well. Almost anything can be construed as hate speech and therefore punishable by law. However, our first amendment rights give us the liberty to speak out. Hate speech will eventually be used to censor those of moral convictions and not those who are seeking to destroy all Jews or Blacks. Believe it or not I want that kind of speech to be spoken because then I know who I need to be wary of. I can protect myself and my family more if I know who my enemy is. They are actually doing me a favor by publicizing it. Not only that when people are vocal about such things, it won’t be long before they carry out a legitimate crime and then I can lock them up for good. By shutting them up you are not doing me any favor, you are only making it harder for me to know who my true enemies are.

It is for all these reason I am deadset against hate crime laws, they are unjust, tyrannical and have no place in a free society. We must do everything to combat real crime and leave what people think to God. Let him do his job and we will do ours.

The Family: A Proclamation to the World

As a convert, I have only known one Prophet during my time in the church. That Prophet was Gordon B. Hinckley. While Thomas S. Monson is now the Prophet, there will always be a special place in my heart for the first Prophet I ever knew. He was a truly gifted orator and had the power to inspire all those who listened. He exuded kindness, compassion and mercy. I will always have fond memories of him. With the new battles waging on marriage and family, I thought this would be an appropriate time to remember what family really is and what it means to not only us but to the world.

The Family: A Proclamation to the World

We, the First Presidency and the Council of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, solemnly proclaim that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator’s plan for the eternal destiny of His children.

All human beings—male and female—are created in the image of God. Each is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents, and, as such, each has a divine nature and destiny. Gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose.

In the premortal realm, spirit sons and daughters knew and worshipped God as their Eternal Father and accepted His plan by which His children could obtain a physical body and gain earthly experience to progress toward perfection and ultimately realize their divine destiny as heirs of eternal life. The divine plan of happiness enables family relationships to be perpetuated beyond the grave. Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally.

The first commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve pertained to their potential for parenthood as husband and wife. We declare that God’s commandment for His children to multiply and replenish the earth remains in force. We further declare that God has commanded that the sacred powers of procreation are to be employed only between man and woman, lawfully wedded as husband and wife.

We declare the means by which mortal life is created to be divinely appointed. We affirm the sanctity of life and of its importance in God’s eternal plan.

Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children. “Children are an heritage of the Lord” (Psalm 127:3). Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, and to teach them to love and serve one another, observe the commandments of God, and be law-abiding citizens wherever they live. Husbands and wives—mothers and fathers—will be held accountable before God for the discharge of these obligations.

The family is ordained of God. Marriage between man and woman is essential to His eternal plan. Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity. Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities. By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners. Disability, death, or other circumstances may necessitate individual adaptation. Extended families should lend support when needed.

We warn that individuals who violate covenants of chastity, who abuse spouse or offspring, or who fail to fulfill family responsibilities will one day stand accountable before God. Further, we warn that the disintegration of the family will bring upon individuals, communities, and nations the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets.

We call upon responsible citizens and officers of government everywhere to promote those measures designed to maintain and strengthen the family as the fundamental unit of society.

This proclamation was read by President Gordon B. Hinckley as part of his message at the General Relief Society Meeting held September 23, 1995, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Honeymoon is Over!

The man hasn’t even taken the oath of office yet and already his honeymoon is over. You have the FEC looking into auditing Obama for his election campaign contributions, some of which came from foreign donors. (Yay!!) You also have jihadists basically calling him a House Negro and other special “N” words.” (Boo! Racist Muslims, who would’ve thought?) Well I guess that is better than palling around with terrorists. But still to be dissed like that by those wonderful Muslim people who did so much for him in his youth-must hurt (Wait a second-it was his White grandmother who actually did so much for him, not deranged Muslims? Never mind, my bad.) And the most glaring betrayal of all…..the press treating him like, well a politician instead of the second coming of Christ. He is probably thinking-is it too late to concede to McCain?

Even his appointments are already starting to be called into question. But hey, we knew this man had questionable judgment from the get go but America wanted a Black president so they could look like enlightened saints to the rest of the world. Hey America, speaking as a Saint (well a Latter Day one anyhow) if you have to prove you’re “enlightened” then you’re not enlightened! Oh well, you are stuck with him now. The good news is in 2012 after America sees the sorry state Obama left this country, they will elect a real conservative. Maybe it will be Sarah Palin, maybe it will be Dena Leichnitz, you just never know. LOL

Why I Love Being Mormon!

1) Have you ever seen an anorexic Mormon? No, it just does not happen. We eat at every possible opportunity. We eat at baptisms, firesides and the 101 activities we simply devise just so we can chow down together. Though we love all food, we really love casserole and jello. In fact, the bishopric is immediately notified should there not be casserole and jello on hand at any church sponsored event, He then gets on the phone to Utah, talks to the Prophet, its a whole thing. People get ex-communicated. Rule number one of being a Mormon-thou must always serve casserole and jello at all functions. [P.S. Last night the singles sponsored a karoake/movie night do you know what people complained about? Not enough food? Do you know what we forgot to bring-casserole and jello! Mostly because we thought the other people would. Oh yeah, was not a pretty sight]

2) It is a lay church. Which means my tithing money is not going to buy a Benz for the pastor of my church. No one gets paid and everyone helps out. Because no money changes hands it makes everyone’s service that much more valuable. Because you know people are doing it because they want to and not because they are being paid.

Got to love those tithers!

3) We’re the original feminist. Joseph organized Relief Society with his wife Emma Smith as its first President back in 1842 on March 17th. Since then we have become not only the largest women’s organization in the world but the oldest. Before there was NOW (or as I like to call them the Nearly Obsolete Women or Naturally Obnoxious Women) there was Relief Society. As part of the fastest growing church, we are part of the fastest growing women’s organization.

4) They don’t convert dumb people. If you look at our church, especially in my ward, the men are mostly lawyers, the women mostly teachers. Education is highly valued in the church, for both men and women. We don’t see education as something someone should do to make a buck but to enrich their lives and further their knowledge. The church expects both men and women to read the scriptures, learn the Gospel and the history of the church. They expect you to teach classes, give talks, things you can’t do if you a moron.

5) Because I don’t have to explain why I don’t drink anymore. Even before the church, I didn’t drink due to my epilepsy. You would be surprised how many people have not heard of epilepsy. So then there was a ten minute discussion about the finer point of seizures. Now, I simply say because I’m Mormon and end of discussion. They may not what epilepsy is but they know what a Mormon is.

6) Because with all the hatred towards Mormons today, it makes it real easy to know who my friends are. It also makes it easier to identify the clearly certifiably insane people as well. All I have to say is three little words, “I’m a Mormon” and watch the insanity fly! It is also kind of fun to watch other Christians get worked up because I don’t think God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost are all meshed together as one. Hello, I thought we were talking about deities here, not thousand island dressing!

7) Lastly, I love being Mormon because they are some of the best people I have ever met in my life. They are loyal, generous, loving, supportive, courageous, and generally good-hearted people. I consider myself lucky that I can count myself among these valiant servants. They are a true representation of the love of Christ. But mostly it is that casserole and jello thing.

Hilary Clinton-Secretary of State?

See Hilary is shocked too!

Well it has been officially confirmed that Hilary will become our next Secretary of State. I guess two adages are at work here. On Hilary’s side it is “If you can’t beat them, join them.” On Obama’s side it is “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” The America-haters are always whining about our worldwide perception-that America is hated the world over. [Yeah jealous people usually do hate the object of their envy.] And you think having Hilary as Secretary of State is going to help this? Come on. It would be like wanting to show the world a more genteel Black man then picking Mike Tyson for your poster child.

Obama: Oh my goodness! What did I do?

One complaint coming from the Democrat’s camp during the campaign was McCain’s temper. That he was too volatile to be President. So Obama goes and nominates a woman who has been known to throw things at her husband’s head, that should go over real well at international diplomacy meetings. Then again maybe throwing items at Kim Jong II is not such a bad idea. And we know she is just the gal to do it.

If I could only grab some popcorn and watch these two crash and burn without taking our country with them, I would almost be enjoying this. Ah yes, all that running a campaign, becoming a Senator only to end up just another Secretary-I wander how that jibes with her feminist notions. Hmmm, you think as Obama’s Secretary of State she will be required to get him coffee while he pats her on the bottom and tells her “Good girl. Now type up a memo to Al Qaeda for me, it is time for our sit down with no pre-conditions. And oh see if you can get Kool and the Gang to play at our next White House dinner, thanks a million babe.”

In any case, you America-haters if you think America is in bad shape now, just wait until your chosen ones really screw us up.  But don’t worry too much the conservatives of this great land will always be there to save you from your boneheaded ideals and  mindless leaders, we always do.

My apologies to any Holocaust survivors who will never find anything about Hitler funny. But at least this is one chance you get to hear the Fuhrer call himself an idiot.
