Hero for August 7, 2010-Patty Rodino

Patty is my hero for the day because of her unwavering love she has shown me. When I was going through a particularly heinous situation this past year, I was on the phone to her constantly and she lended her support without question. I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through any of it without her.
I talk to Patty about once a week and she is my confidante. She is guide and helps me in a particular area that I am weakest. She has been such a treasure. I cherish my friendship with her. She is a wonderful mother and I proud to call her my friend.
She is my hero because she is a fine example of what happens when you put Christ first. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Part of the reason, I have come as far as I have in various areas is becasue I had her as my cheerleader, leading me on. God bless Patty.
