Before I get into my article, I want to say the following: All Blacks are not failing. There are more Blacks in college than they are in prison, though the Liberal Left would have you think otherwise. The youngest Black female doctor is 23-year-old Ava Roberts. We had the world’s best neurosurgeon, a Black man, run for the Presidency. Although Mr. Ben Carson didn’t win the nomination he did show the world, you can Black, male and Republican. So this article is not meant to bash the Black community but to illustrate while we do have successes to speak, we also have some overwhelming failures that need addressing.
One of the biggest failures that lead to the destabilization we see in the Black community is the Oreo complex. The Oreo complex, for those who haven’t heard of it, is not the compulsion to eat Oreo cookies addictively, but the opinion found in the Black community that if you better yourself, if you don’t stay in the ghetto, if you get an education (this being the most important factor in the complex) or don’t listen to rap then you are acting White and therefore not really Black.

Education is an extremely important part of this complex because people will often talk down college to those who want to attend: They do this by spreading the myth that there are more Black men in prison than they are in colleges. A myth that is spread by authors, like Michelle Alexander in her 2010 book, “The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness” On page 190, it read: “The impact of the new caste system is most tragically felt among the young. In Chicago (as in other cities across the United States) young, Black men are more likely to go to prison than to college:”
Yet that is far being the truth. In fact, ” According to the U.S. Census, about 18,508,926 people in the U.S. population are Black males, of all ages. In 2013, 1,437,363 were enrolled in college, according to the National Center for Educational Statistics. As of the middle of 2013, there were 219,660 Black males were in local jails, and 526,000 Black males were in state or federal prison, totaling about 745,000 behind bars, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics’ National Prisoner Statistics Program. So about 13 percent of the entire Black male population is in college. It may not sound impressive, but remember we are only 13 percent of the population and the 18 million is for all Black males, including newborns, 5-year-olds, and 16-year-olds, etc. if we were to exclude of them that number would be much higher. Yet the Left and those with Oreo complex continue to spread the myth as if it were the Gospel Truth.
The reason for doing so is capitalism at its worst. It is a way to make money while keeping people in poverty. It is a way to legitimize the “Thug Life” and make it seem like you are being punished simply for participating in what should be an acceptable and legal line of work, usually drug dealing. Michelle Alexander spends a lot of the book talking about the War on drugs specifically and not just mass incarceration in general. If you read Michelle’s book you get the feeling most Blacks are or will become criminals within the course of their lifetime. So if this what life is like for Blacks why not simply go out and do it? You are going to be punished for it one way or the other, you might as well have done the crime. Whatever Michelle think she is doing, she is actually laying the groundwork for additional Black people to be incarcerated not less.
I attended a conference at Los Angeles City College where Michelle Alexander was the speaker. I couldn’t stomach much of her speech and ended up leaving but I found quite odd she would go to a college, to talk to a room full of Black people about Blacks not going to college. Strange indeed, that was in 2010 when her book first came out. This past week, though, I went to a seminar on how to get in the UCs. (Universities of California, there about 9 total). They had three speakers and of course, I gave my story in bits and pieces as well. The room was full but still there were less than 100 people in attendance. It was being put on by a Black church, West Angeles Church, one of the largest Black churches in Los Angeles and as happy as I was to see people coming out for this, it saddened me there wasn’t more.
There wasn’t more because Blacks don’t see college as an option. While some of it has to do with finance and thinking they cannot afford to go college, a lot more of it is just the general mindset that college is for White folks and I don’t belong there. They feel they don’t belong there because the Michelle Alexanders of the world keep telling them they don’t. But for every Michelle Alexnder, there is a Deacon John H. Wilson, who is telling them that they do. Not only is he telling them, he is also showing them how to do it. He is helping them study for their SATs. He has even invited me to help the adults in his church also go back to school. If we are going to fix this Oreo complex, it is going to be through the efforts of Deacon Wilson and men like him.
Wes Moore
But it is going to take a lot of Deacon Wilsons to change this historical aversion to education. Education is not only for the non-Black people of the world, it is for the Wes Moores as well. Wes Moore is” a Rhodes Scholar, a decorated veteran, White House fellow and a business leader.” [The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates] In his book, he writes about his life and another Wes Moore that grew up just blocks from him. While he grew up to be the above, the other Wes Moore grew up to be a murderer. Yet while the Oreo people will extol Wes Moore-the murderer, they will run down Wes Moore-the Rhodes Scholar.
Wes paints a compassionate picture of his namesake. Even he wonders how two boys with similar backgrounds and grew up blocks from each other came out on the opposite ends of the spectrum. While compassion is a noble virtue, it becomes a fatal flaw when we use it to paint prison life as heroic and ultimately inevitable. While Wes Moore is careful not to make that mistake, the Black community at large, is not. We are failing because we are not educating ourselves. After hundreds of years fighting for it, after Little Rock Nine and the Board of Education vs. Topeka, after all, the deaths and all the struggles we are throwing it away.
The Oreo complex is not just a cultural thing it is a familial thing, it reaches down to the very core of the Black community-the Black family.”Some of my black besties have had to contend with that themselves–because they DARED to work themselves out of the “ghetto” and get an education and a career! In some cases, their own relatives treat them like dirt for being “uppity” while still trying to take from them everything they’ve earned.” This quote by Lee Walker demonstrates that whether you are Black or not, that the aversion to education is so apparent that no steps are taken to hide it or downplay it. It is out there for everyone to observe. And observe they do. They observe the devastation that comes from not being educated.
My people love to talk about Dr. King but the title doctor is not some cute colloquialism that he called himself. Martin Luther King, Jr had a Ph.D. so why don’t they talk about that? Do you love Beloved by Toni Morrison? Well, Toni has her bachelor’s from Howard University and she also taught there! Can’t get enough of Mos Def? Well, he graduated from NYU! Then there are people like Deva, a Black 18-year-old girl with Down Syndrome, who is graduating high school WITH HONORS!!! You can beat there are no Oreos in Deva’s family. The truth is we can do this. We can become the great people we once were. We only need to educate ourselves.
If ever my life is on the line and the only way to save it is to reject Jesus Christ, I will not do it. For all they will be doing is giving me my ultimate dream, to behold the face of Christ. To feel His embrace and know I am back home where I belong. If threatened with beatings and torture, it will not matter. For I will simply remember my Saviour too was beaten and tortured and in that moment of sorrow, our connection will be all the stronger and I will simply say, “Christ, you bared this torture to save my soul, it is now time I repay you and uplift your name as you uplifted mine with every painful stripe.” And if I lay bleeding, I will know I am going home.
If you look at the position we are in, we are Germany 1933 right before Hitler gains power. Due to Obama’s ineptitude on foreign policy, as well as his extremism on social rights, we have become the laughing stock of the world. We are overrun by debt. And while illegal immigration is a legitimate issue that has to be addressed, there is an overall hatred of foreigners even if they legal or premanent residents, or even citizens. It is these things that made it possible to for Hitler to gain power and it is these things that will make it possible for someone with the same egomania to also achieve power here in America.
Neither one is a friend to religion and so it is not that difficult to believe that one day Christians will have to make a choice. Donald Trump or Jesus Christ. That is a no-brainer for me. If I should ever have to give my allegiance to Hillary Clinton or be slain that is also a no-brainer. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ will win out every time. If it is my country or my Lord, I will watch America go down the pits of hell before standing against my beloved Heavenly Father. The time to make the decision who are you going to stand for is now. Not when they have a gun to your head but now! And once, you have made it, act on it accordingly but be forewarned, your decision to stand for God or country will be an eternal one.
In my continuing series about the truth about the gay movement, there is one subculture within the gay subculture that no one talks about and needs to be addressed. This group is the reason why the HIV/AIDS remains so high among gay men after all these years.
The article then goes on to say: “Epidemiologists from the Centers for Disease Control have done studies among homosexual men with and without the immune disorder but matched in age, background and other characteristics. After testing for more than 130 potential risk factors, they found that the median number of lifetime male sexual partners for affected homosexual men was 1,160, compared to 524 for male homosexual men who did not have the syndrome. The study also found more use of sexual stimulants and illicit drugs among the GRID patients.”
The true mascot of the rally was little three-year-old, Minerva. She was out there with her father holding her sign. She was an affectionate child who gave hugs and smiles quite readily. While some people passed by, the author of this article sat down and talked to her. She was shy but playful and the minute I sat next to her she gave me a big hug. Having Minerva out there was a reminder what the pro-life side was fighting for.

The gay movement is not now nor has it ever been obtaining civil rights for gay people. In fact, it is impossible to create civil rights for gay people because their identification is bashed on behavior that is impossible to confirm. Unless you are going to go around sneaking in people’s bedrooms to see who they are sleeping with on a consistent basis there is no way to tell someone’s true feelings. You just have to take their word for it.
Of course, the truth is the gay movement was never truly about equality but made into an equality argument by two men Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen who wrote the book, “After the Ball: How America Will Conquer its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90s.” Their book was a propaganda manual that put forth how to turn homosexuality into something every heterosexual would defend or risk being thought of as un-American. After all, Americans live and breathe equality and freedom. We abhor anyone being treated unfairly because of something they have no control over like their skin color or their gender. And Kirk and Madsen knew if they could make homosexuality seem like something you have no control over then homosexual activists would win and they would get their civil rights.

This morning, one of the greatest male pop artists that the world has ever seen passed away. Prince Rogers Nelson who was simply known as Prince has passed away from health issues. Prince burst onto the scene in 1982 with his album, Controversy. Though he had released two albums prior to Controversy, it was that particular album that he shot him into stardom. At the time of his arrival upon the pop music scene, many people compared him to Michael Jackson. Mostly due to their intense popularity and that they were both Black. However, Prince had something over Michael, his ability to play several instruments. He was an all in one music creating machine.

The Left cries about the war on woman constantly while ignoring the real war on women such as child brides, sex slaves and honor killings by their beloved Muslims. They also ignore the danger they are putting real women in by promoting transgenderism as some legitimate lifestyle and a severely confused biological man who should in no way be allowed to display is depravity around women and young girls. Transgenderism has taken off in this past year and if it continues unabated it will continue to destroy womanhood, especially Biblical womanhood.
Gays are legitimate. That is how they truly feel, they are not trying to become something they are not. And just because they are a man that likes other men doesn’t mean they are trying to become a woman.They like being a man, they are comfortable being a man. While I think gays have issues going on of their own, perpetuating a fraud is not one of them. At least, the ones who are clearly out.
So what is the difference between gays and transgenderism? Gays have no desire or inclination to change their biological sex, transgenders do. Gays may say biology is irrelevant in marriage but they don’t say biology is irrelevant in all private moments of one’s life, transgenders say even going to the bathroom should be an uncomfortable experience for those who don’t buy into their ideology! And that is just the start. Being gay is about loving whom you want, transgenderism is about trying to redefine a whole biological sex based on your opinion. It is much scarier and detrimental than homosexuality by itself, at least that is my opinion.
B. Hinckley. It clearly states that each person has a divine nature and destiny and that gender is part of that. We cannot separate them simply because we want to. When you say, “I feel like a woman.” that is both dishonest and demoralizing to women since you could not possibly know what it feels like to be a woman. It shows a world view revolving around your feelings, “I feel…so it must be true.” While feelings impact the way we see the world, they should not be the primary source for how we see it.

Desiree walked into the doctor’s office knowing it would be the last time they saw each other. She had known him for 10 years and now she was off to Washington D.C. She was going to head up the lobbying division of Conservative Push Coalition. Lobbying was something she had always dreamed off and now it was happening for her but it meant leaving him behind. This was going to be hard.
Like the Tea Party, the enthusiasm for Conservative Push Coalition has been overwhelming. Though the website is only a month old there has been over a million hits this month alone. This sort of response in the conservative community has not been seen since 2009 when Glenn Beck spurred off the movement on his radio show. While in 2009 people were Taxed Enough Already (TEA), in 2016, people are Constantly Pissed at Congress (CPC) for their flagrant disregard of our Constitution.
However, CPC has no celebrities endorsements. It was started by one man, Frank YJ, not a millionaire, not some fast-talking businessman but a citizen who saw dissension within the conservative movement and took steps to correct it. With one post on a pro-Ted Cruz Facebook page, Conservative Push Coalition was born! Everyone who works for CPC is a Constitutionalist who wishes to restore the American dream for our great nation again. CPC is also different from the Tea Party because it is not just about fixing our government. Our base is much broader and reaches out to everyone, young and old, Black or White, Tea Party or not.
Every woman on the planet knows about the fallback guy. He is the guy you go running to when the guy you are actually dating does you wrong. He is the guy who listens to you, remembers your birthday and picks you up when you are down. He is just not the guy you are attracted to. But maybe you should be. I know for me my guy was Bobby Jindal. I loved Bobby and thought he would make a great president but he just didn’t have the numbers to build a campaign. Next was Marco Rubio. If I couldn’t have Bobby then Marco seemed like a good choice besides I was hired with his campaign so I backed him all the way. It was after Marco that I started backing Ted Cruz, my fallback guy. But maybe it should’ve been him all along.
Initially, I couldn’t turn my back on Bobby because of his stance on Planned Parenthood. He was the first Governor to block funds for Planned Parenthood. While everyone was debating whether the videos of Planned Parenthood selling fetal parts were true, Governor Jindal simply said, “Enough is enough.” and blocked their funding. When protesters showed up to the Governor’s mansion, he simply played the videos. None of the protestors would even watch them. I had always respected Bobby Jindal but right then and there I fell in love with him. Not as a woman loves a man but as one patriot loves another.

Such a notion is clearly insane and shows no bearings of lucidity. Suicide bombings are no more political activism than eating gay men was Jeffrey Dahmer’s display of love for the gay community. While feminism started out as a peaceful movement it has gotten increasingly dark and violent over the years from abortion to euthanasia and now female suicide bombers, so it is no surprise they have not lent their voice to eradicate this problem.
