No Longer a Conservative (But Still Not a Liberal)

In the recent months,  I have seen my beloved conservatives become nothing but mad-starved liberals. While saying they promote limited government and individual freedom they have chosen a lifetime liberal candidate who values neither of these things. I will say this for Obama, much like Andrew Diamond of my Aviva Center days  who made me value religious liberty, he has mad me value the Constitution. I knew almost nothing about it until he stepped into office. Then I even went to school and learned more about it. I have to hand it to Obama, he more than anyone else has made me the devoted defender of the Constitution and after finding this great love of mine, I am not about to let it go for the likes of Donald Trump.

Constitution imagesA good friend of mine who hated Obama for his defiance of the Constitution, actually said we don’t need the Constitution when Trump started running for President. One of the smartest women I knew was willing to throw the Constitution away for the sake of Trump, at that point I knew we had to go our separate ways, I could no longer be friends with someone willing to trade liberty for security. During the past several months since Trump’s candidacy, I have had several similar experiences. The steadfast conservatives  I trusted all these years have become the Obamabots we all made fun of for years.

ConstitutionSo I f I am not a conservative anymore, what am I? I am constitutionalist. So what is a constitutionalist as opposed to a conservative? A Constitutionalist is a true believer in liberty, defends the Constitution, is God-fearing and seeks to help the poor and less fortunate in ways that will improve their lot and not keep them dependent. A conservative while saying they promote these things does not promote the right to life and will place financial security above the right to life and liberty any time. They will promote fascist tactics against their enemies and while they talk a good game about God are constantly supporting people choosing “the lesser of two evils.” They also lack real understanding or love for the Constitution. As such, it would be dishonest of me to continue calling myself a conservative.

The good news is I am not the only constitutionalist. There are plenty of us out there. Yet we can no longer align ourselves with these faux conservatives and we surely cannot lend our noble name and purpose along with their liberal hijinks, so it is time for us constitutionalists to stand tall and let it be known that while the liberals and conservatives are killing each other in the streets, we will be fast at work restoring our nation to the state of liberty it once enjoyed. While it is easy to be discouraged by the unfolding events, we must not let that dissuade that from achieving our goals of “letting freedom ring.” King didn’t die so we could pander to the moderates. Our Founding Father didn’t stake their fortunes so that tyranny would reign. We deserve more. We deserve America.

Why Marco Rubio for President?

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio speaks at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla. on Thursday.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio speaks at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla. on Thursday.

Everyone who knows me knows that I am a Jindal girl. He is my favorite conservative politician and though I would love to see him as President, I don’t think he has the pull at this time to gain the Presidency. Though he would make a fantastic vice president. That being said I do think Marco Rubio does have the necessary pull among mainstream America to pull in a successful Presidential race. That is if The GOP listens to its constituents (which it usually doesn’t.).

You might be asking yourself why you should vote for Marco Rubio? What can he give you that some other Republican nominee can’t? I will go through why he is better than some of the other candidates and his voting record, so you can get a better look at why Marco Rubio should be our next President.

  1. Trump vs. Rubio

Trump has burst onto the Republican scene as the candidate to beat. He obviously has a lot of ideas that people agree with, especially when it comes to amnesty and immigration. However, having a few good ideas is not enough to make you a good President. Every President since FDR has come in with “good” ideas on how to improve America. Yet we have had far more mediocre and bad presidents than we have had good or great ones. So good ideas alone cannot make a Presidency. Even Obama came in saying he was going to make the government more transparent. That every bill would be posted for at least 48 hours before any vote was taken (and when is that exactly happening Obama?!) and instead we got the Fast and Furious, hidden emails from Hilary and conservatives being threatened by the IRS. So much for that transparency.

Rubio, on the other hand, doesn’t just talk a good game about what is going to do he has a record that shows you what he Immigration-Services_1will do. He has consistently shown himself to be a fiscal conservative and not bowing down to every interest group that comes down the pike. He co-sponsored the bill to get the Keystone XL Pipeline going. He is also for making our country much more secure by doing E-verify, strengthening the border. etc. This is a quote from Marco Rubio regarding illegal immigration:

We also understand it is so special, unique, some people are willing to risk their lives to come here illegally. As compassionate people, we understand that reality and our heart breaks at the stories of what people are having to go through to come. But we also understand the United States of America is a sovereign country. Every single sovereign country on the planet, every single one, tries to or does control its borders and who comes into the country and who leaves. Every country in the world does that. The United States of America should not be any different.

At the end of the day, that is what this issue is about. It is that we have a sovereign right to protect our border and we have a crisis on the southern border of the United States. For many different reasons, people have chosen to cross that border illegally, consistently, for the 20 or 30 years, and the results are obvious to all of us. That is why border security is such an important part of this bill and this measure.

Rubio has shown himself to have strong character, yes he does want to fix illegal immigration in this country, but he doesn’t need to create the sort of crazed melee that Trump has. If all you want to do is change immigration then Trump is your guy but if you want to change America. If you want to make it better for everyone then you need to take a closer look at Marco Rubio.

  • 2 Carson vs. Rubio

Ben CarsonI like Ben Carson. He seems to be a nice, intelligent man. But that doesn’t make him Presidential material. Long gone are the days when a President was nothing more than a mere caretaker and didn’t really need that much political savvy in which to successfully do his job. Today a president is not just a mere figurehead as he was back in the early days of our country. Ben might one day make a great President but just not now.

On the other hand, Marco Rubio has the same character and foresightedness that draws people to Ben Carson and also has a substantial record of standing with conservative values when it comes time to voting. Some people say we need Rubio more in the legislator bracket than we do as a President because he can more effectively get bills passed as a Senator than he could as a President. That is not entirely false, he has shown himself to be both consistent and effective as a legislator and even his colleagues think highly of him. Michelle Bachmann at Politicon, when questioned about Rubio, said he was the most articulate of all the candidates. And while she thought his position on amnesty (she seemed to think he was for it) would hurt him, she also thought overall he would make a good president. (Unfortunately, I didn’t spot the outlet to plug in my computer until after she had talked about Rubio, but it was being filmed so I am sure you can find her comments somewhere.) So I am certain that as president Rubio would be able to use those strong connections he has already forged to help get bills passed, whereas Ben would have to start from scratch.

Those are the two big candidates that Rubio is going up against. Now we will look at some other reasons why Rubio should be President:

Finances:money picture

Marco already has a quite the cash flow. According to the Federal Election Committee Rubio has $8,920,928 in individual contributions. He has received no money from the GOP and as for PACs he has only taken in $204,200. So what does this tell us? It tells us that he is not beholden to PACs to get his message out. Nor to the Republican Party. It is individual people and businesses that are putting their money behind Rubio. The people behind Rubio come from all walks of life, business owners, retirees, homemakers, salespersons, etc. They all have one thing in common, they all believe in Marco Rubio and many have contributed one more than one occasion because of that belief.  That is the kind of President we need. One that everyone can believe in.

Pro-life

Cecile Richards

Cecile Richards of Planned Parenthood

When I talked to a potential voter about Rubio, he told me that his being pro-life was going to hurt him. I told him he was wrong, that more than ever people are fast becoming pro-life and with Cecile Richards and Planned Parenthood being brought forth before Congress in order to decide whether or not to defund them, more people are starting to see the truth behind abortion and they are not liking it. According to Vote Smart Rubio has a 100 percent pro-life record. In fact, when it comes to organizations like NARAL, he has received a 0 percent rating. NARAL is the largest abortion advocacy group in America. The difference between NARAL and Planned Parenthood is that Planned Parenthood does abortions, while NARAL just advocates for them to remain legal.  Gallup recently did a poll and said more people are pro-choice than pro-life, but obviously people at Gallup are apparently idiots and cannot read their own poll. Because it read that 39 percent said abortion should be legal in a few cases (rape, incest, life of mother) and 19 percent said it should be illegal in all cases, now maybe they are doing that Common Core math but in real mathematics 36+19=55. Fifty-five percent means MOST Americans are pro-life. How did they arrive at this conclusion that more Americans are pro-choice? Because when asked 50 percent described themselves as pro-choice even though they really weren’t. Gallup took that self-described nonsense and ran with it. Yet as we can see Rubio’s strong pro-life ethic will serve him well in his Presidency.

Fiscal conservatism

Instead of typing a long dialogue, I decided to simply demonstrate Rubio’s conservative vs. liberal slant:

Fiscally Conservative

Occupy Wall Street vs. The Tea Party

Manhattan Tea Party

Anyone who has followed my blog for any length of time knows that I am a Tea Party girl. However, one cannot ignore this Occupy Wall Street movement that is the Left’s equivalent of the Tea Party. When the Tea Party first started growing the Left tried their inane beverage parties as if the people joining the movement were all enamored and obsessed with tea or something. You had the Coffee Party, there was a Beer Party and I am sure if  you looked hard enough you could’ve found a Diet Fanta party for anorexic Hispanics or some other such nonsense.
With the failure of those parties, they finally hit upon an idea-re-create Woodstock with its sex, drugs and non-existent bathing and boom the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement was born. OWS is basically Woodstock on speed. There is a vast difference between the two movements and it can best be summed up in this “photo” I recieved in my email:

There is a reason the two parties cannot get along besides the whole  rape thing. The reason is because the two movements fundamentally disagree on how this country should be. The tea party thinks people should be responsible for creating and carrying out their own destiny. While the OWS group thinks government should be involved every time you take a breath.  While the government does a role in the lives of its citizens it is not supposed to be a nanny. The purpose of government is to protect its citizens and provide infrastructure to society in order that its citizens can then live their lives according to their own beliefs and ideals. So long as those ideals don’t cause undue harm to others.

The only thing these two movements have in common are that they are both grassroots based. Beyond that, the movements are like night and day. The Tea Party wants to reign in the government and hold them accountable for their actions. The OWS blames Wall Street for the woes the nation is facing while they are carrying around laptops,  IPODs and wearing FUBU. It is pretty clear they have no understanding of what they are fighting, whereas the Tea Party is very clear in what it wants to see take place. Ask anyone at a Tea Party about the Constitution and they will most likely whip out their own little pocket copy. People at a Tea Party have an understanding of what the Constitution and why it should be followed. The OWS crowd seems far less educated about their own cause. Which only makes them look foolish.

What is worse is the government is actually behind this movement. You have both Obama and Nancy Pelosi encouraging and supporting the protesters. Rule number one of a protest: Never have the government back your cause! No protester worth their salt would ever have the government endorse them! I know you OWS people dropped a lot of acid during Woodstock but even with your limited brain cells left you must at least remember that from your protest days!

In closing, all I can say is if it comes down to a showdown between the Tea Party and the OWS crowd  you better hope and pray the Tea Party wins or else you won’t have a country, job or freedom left.

Third Parties-Are They Viable?

There are plenty of “third party” parties out there. You have the Constitution Party, American Independent Party, The Green Party, Libertarian Party

(which to me is the Democratic Party on steroids.), The Peace and Freedom Party and the list goes on.  However, when you ask most people about the third party candidates, you often hear one familiar refrain-“voting for a third party is a waste of a vote because a third party can never win.”

Good thing no one told Abraham Lincoln that back in 1860, when he was running on a third party ticket, the newly formed Republican Party for the Presidency.  Maybe they did but he just didnt’ listen. Maybe he had more faith in his party, more faith in his capabilities as a lawyer, a Congressman and future president and definitely more faith in the American people not to get sidetracked by Whigs telling him he didn’t stand a chance!

The Republican Party went from a lowly third party to being not only a major party but giving us the most Presidents out of any party! There are some really good parties out there, all it takes is stop the defeatist attitude that voting for a third party always means certain death and start searching out parties that truly reflect your values. If you are a crazed communist bent on world domination and global socialism. Then maybe the Democratic Party is for you after all.  For the rest of us, it is time we fight the two party system and start electing people that are truly “representative” of us and our beliefs.

Are third parties viable? Only if we make them viable. Only if we stop thinking we have to take this broken system and continue using it. Of course, third parties will continue to lose if we don’t back them. But as the Republican Party has shown us, third parties are not doomed to be third parties forever and it is time that the American people to show the politicians who really is in charge! It is through times of adversity that greatness is revealed, not success. In order to gain back our liberties, we need to stand against the Whigs and Democrats of today!

I think since the days of Lincoln, slavery and Confederacy has there never been so great a need for a third party in this country.  Status quo has never achieved anything worthwhile, so it is time we revolt against it and show these modern politicians what “We the People” really means! The more  people are willing to leave the failing two parties, the more they will have to work to retain our vote. Don’t think it is time they start working for us again people?

The NAACP, The Tea Party and Me

As someone who attended the first Tea Party April 15, 2009 and has attended subsequent ones since then I find it infuriating the Tea Party is constantly being hurled with allegations of racism from people who have never been to one like the NAACP. I have never been insulted because of my color when I showed up at Tea Party rally. Do you think I would take my five year old son (now six) to an environment that would insult him and his mother’s heritage? Give me a break.

My son recently asked me, “Mommy when are we going to another rally?” This was after dragging him to every Tea Party, every End the Fed and every other conservative rally I could find for months on end.  Most of the time he didn’t want to go but I thought it was important for him to know we have to keep the government in check. We cannot let them get so out of control that they start taking away our liberties for “the good of all.” I often joked, he is going to grow up and go to every rally he can find and  protesting the government will become like breathing to him. Or he will hate rallies so much, he will sock you in the eye just for mentioning them. LOL. At least he will have something to talk about in therapy years from now, “Yeah my mother was always dragging me to one rally or another. It was like being a hippie but with morals.”

The NAACP has no idea what goes on at these rallies, so let me tell you what does. Unity-people are cordial to each other as we protest the overreaching government waste. Laughter-some of the signs I have seen have definitely given me a good laugh. People rarely scream (only when chanting slogans but other than that, no!) but laughter seems to fill the air. Brotherhood-there is a sense that we are all in this together and we need everyone to get us out of it. That without working as a team, things are not going to improve. Focus-while everyone comes from different backgrounds and different beliefs, the focus is on the fiscal responsibility of government and returning to the enumerated powers they have been given. The Constitution-you will often find people giving out pocket constitution. I got people w ho wanted to do my Constitution class online. The Constitution is the Guest of Honor at any Tea Party rally.

Are there racists in the Tea Party? Who knows, maybe but you couldn’t go by me because I have not run into a single one. I have not been made to feel unwelcomed at any Tea Party event. Everyone has always been friendly and I have been received with open arms. There has been a few comments like, “It is great to see a Black person here.” and if that is racism they really need to work harder on it. The only thing I can find “wrong” with that comment is that it focuses on me being Black instead of me being just another American wanting the best for my child and my country.

Have there been throngs of Blacks at the Tea Party rallies I have attended? No! But  that doesn’t mean there haven’t been any or that I was always the only one. There have been a few Blacks there whenever I went and if there is not more is because they have been duped by the liberal media thinking that even if they agreed with their cause they would not be welcomed. My poli sci teacher actually asked me if I was getting paid to attend these Tea Parties? Supposedly he was joking but it just goes to show how liberals think. That money is the driving force of everything and I couldn’t happen to believe in what they were saying unless I was getting paid for it. I believe in it because liberalism hasn’t produced one result in my life that ultimately enhanced it. I believe in conservatism because it has done more to motivate to change my circumstances than liberalism ever did. I believe in the cause of Tea Party because government in its best intention to help me has done more to keep down and impoverished than it has ever done to alleviate it.  I believe in the Tea Party because socialism hasn’t worked for me and I believe getting out of my way and allowing me to achieve my dream is what I and every person is entitled to.

So NAACP please shut up, you have no idea of what it is like for those of us who are Black and patriotic and attend the Tea Party.  You can’t have an idea because of your  hatred for America and everything it represents. Yes, America has not had a perfect history show me a nation that has, but America has done more to atone for  her sins than any other nation on Earth and continues to fight for liberty all around this globe and I resent you and your liberal buddies taking down my country. Now if you want to help it get back on its feet-more power to you. If you don’t, you need to get to steppin’  because your ignorance and vileness against Whites and the Tea Party will not be tolerated!

Weimar vs. Constitution: The Second Round

Since people are obviously interested in these two constitutions (Dueling Constitutions gets the most hits every day) I have decided to do another piece.  Comparing more of Weimar and its ramifications should we end up like pre WWII Germany.

One thing that is most glaring to me is that America and Germany declare themselves to be republics but in truth Germany never was a republic, it was a Reich or an empire! An empire does not take orders from the peons! To call themselves the German Reich and then add they are a republic is really to insult one’s intelligence.

Article 1
The German Reich is a republic.  State authority derives from the people.

Ah yes, I needed a good laugh. Thank you Weimar.

Now let’s look at their third article:

Article 3
The Reich colours are black-red-golden. The merchant flag is black-white-red, with the Reich colours in the upper, inner corner.

Are you kidding me? This is what  you think is important in terms of government-the colors of your flag? If our flag was purple, green and tan it wouldn’t make a difference.  I love America and it has little do with “our colors!” I respect the flag as a symbol of our country, but seriously you have just finished a world war, you are devising a new constitution and instead of focusing on the needs of the people, you are doing interior design?  Let’s look at our third article:

Section 1 – Judicial powers

The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behavior, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.

There are two other sections as well, but the bulk of it deals with the Judicial powers. So Americans get together devise a constitution and think article 3 should deal with the last branch of powers in our government-the courts. And lay out what they can hear and what they can’t and a bunch of leftists Germans get together and make fashion decisions for theirs!

Okay by Article 6, they are finally getting down to brass tacks.  I will post 6-10 up here:

Article 6
The Reich exclusively exercises legislation in the following areas :
1. foreign relations
2. colonial affairs
3. nationality, freedom of movement, immigration and emigration as well as
extradition
4. national defense
5. national currency
6. customs service, the union of the customs and trade territory, freedom of
movement of merchandise
7. postal and telegraph service including telephone service

Article 7
The Reich is responsible for legislation in the areas
1. civil law
2. penal law
3. jurisdiction including the execution of sentences as well as judicial
assistance between government offices
4. passport affairs and the registration of aliens
5. welfare for the poor and the migrants
6. press, clubs, assemblies
7. population policy, motherhood, baby, children and youth welfare
8. health care, veterinary affairs, protection of plants against diseases and parasites [Hitler would call Jews ‘parasites” and that one word would cost 5 million Jewish lives!]
9. labour legislation, insurance and protection of workers and employees as well
as certification of employment
10. the establishment of institutions representing occupations within the Reich territory
11. welfare for combattants and their surviving dependants
12. the law of expropriation
13. the nationalization of natural resources, of economic enterprises, of the production, distribution and pricing of merchandise for the social economy
14. trade, measurements, the distribution of paper money, construction and stock markets
15. the sale of food as well as other goods of daily consumption
16. industry and mining
17. insurances
18. merchant shipping. ocean and coastal fishing
19. railways, inland navigation, motor vehicle traffic on land, water and in the air, the construction of overland roads, as far as these serve general traffic and national defense
20. theatres and cinemas

Article 8
The Reich furthermore is responsible for legislation regarding taxation and other revenues, as far as they are fully or partly used to pay its expenses. If the Reich uses taxation which hitherto has contributed to the budget of the states, it has to consider the viability of the states.

Article 9
Insofar there is need for the formulation of standardized regulations, the Reich has the legislation over
1. welfare system
2. protection of law and order

Article 10
The Reich may, via legislation, establish principles for:
1. the rights and obligations of religious communities
2. the education system, including universities and scientific libraries
3. the rights of Beamte (3) in all public bodies
4. law pertaining land, its distribution, settlement, obligations coming
with ownership of land, housing and the distribution of population
5. funerals

Okay once you count all those bad boys up-you have 33 enumerated powers and can you find something that the government does not or cannot control? NO!!! Everything, even seeing a movie is under government control! We have 18 enumerated powers.

Now let’s look at our respective 10th Amendments. By this I mean, state sovereignty, who comes out better in the end? Well let’s take a look.

Article 12
As far and as much the Reich does not make use of its right to legislate, the states are entitled to legislate. This does not apply to the areas in which the Reich has the exclusive right to legislate.
When it comes to state laws pertaining Article 7 Number 13, the Reich government, inasfar the welfare of the Reich is concerned, has the right to object.

That is Weimar’s and this is ours:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

In our Constitution, which doesn’t try to define every little thing for us but expects us to use our brains, the rights not explicitly outlined or prohibited  belong to the States and people. Notice how we mention the people in ours? Were is the mention of the people in Weimar’s?  In fact, if it is considered “bad”  for the Reich, regardless of whether the people want it or the states want it, it cannot happen.  Because it is the Reich’s welfare that is paramount not the people’s.

States have no independent of the Reich. Whereas in America they do. This is stated in Article 14

Article 14
Reich laws are executed by state authorities, inasfar Reich laws do not specify otherwise.

This might look like an attempt at state sovereignty but it clearly is not. They are to be answerable to the Reich, not the people. It is a whole different feel. They are trying to create a vast government to take care of all human needs.  Our founding fathers were trying to create a limited government to ensure people had the most freedom to do what they wanted. Their focus is entirely different.  In the Weimar constitution the government is the master, in our constitution, the people are the master and the government is their servant.

As we continue to research Weimar, you will see how vastly subpar it is to America’s constitution and how a republic in the hands of Leftists is not a republic at all, but a grab for power. We must safeguard our freedoms and make sure we are not becoming a Nazi Germany and Lord helps us if we that’s where we end up.

Dueling Constitutions: Weimar vs. U.S. Constitution

Whilepreamble-main_Full all men are created equal, all constitutions are not. As we now are finding our liberties to be rapidly evaporating, it is prudent that we take the time to think not only about our own constitution but those around the world, past and present. It stands to reason if Obama and his leftist cronies get their way we will see dissolution to our constitution and a rise to Weimar’s.

            What  is Weimar?

The Weimar Constitution is the governing document of Germany that Weimar_Constitutionwas drafted right after World War I. One of the main architects of the Weimar Constitution was  a man named Max  Weber and according to the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy: “He was invited to join the draft board of the Weimar Constitution as well as the German delegation to Versaille; albeit in vain, he even ran for a parliamentary seat on the liberal Democratic Party ticket.” [Kim, Sung Ho “Max Weber” Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy.  August 24, 2007. http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/weber/] Weber was prominent in his time and wrote such books as “The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism.”  While there are conflicting reports about his politics most say he was left wing and if the Constitution that he was a part of is any indication, then I would agree.

weber

Max Weber

It is important to know this because once we see how the Left does a Constitution, it becomes even more urgent that we prevent them from trashing and rewriting ours as Obama, Pelosi and Reid would all love to do. So let’s look at the stark differences in a more decidedly Left Constitution and those right wing nuts we call our Founding Fathers and their Constitution. The first thing that jumps out at you is the sheer size between the two Constitutions. While the Left loves to hear the sound of its own voice and uses fanciful language, except in this case-the language is almost childlike and immature. The Right is more get to the point and make sure everyone can understand.  The Weimar Constitution has 181 Articles, the U.S. Constitution 7.  There are no amendments in the Weimar and the U.S has 27. You can tell they were trying to draw from the U.S. Constitution as their main source of inspiration but their need to interfere in the lives of others prevented them from pulling it off.  Even when they start off with the correct premise they go wrong very quickly. I will give you an example.

Article 119: “Marriage, as the foundation of the family and the preservation and expansion of the nation, enjoys the special protection of the constitution. It is based on the equality of both genders. It is the task of both the state and the communities to strengthen and socially promote the family. Large families may claim social welfare. Motherhood is placed under state protection and welfare.”  [Emphasis mine]  [PSM-Data: Geschichte. “The Weimar Constitution” http://www.zum.de/psm/weimar/weimar_vve.php#Seventh Chapter] It is like watching a NASCAR driver crashing. You see him going along at a nice little clip and then boom he crashes into the wall! That is what this passage reminds me of. They started off in the right direction by protecting marriage, even got right the equality of both genders in the marriage then told mothers they were under the state’s “protection.” Okay Capone, thanks but no thanks. They start to grant liberty and then quickly snatch it away.

Restore the Republic wanted to know if the Germans during the Nazi era were armed and while I don’t know if they were or not, I can tell you they had no constitutional protection to self-protection. All protection was to come through the state.

Article 123 does mention arms but not in a way that would protect the people. It reads: All Germans have the right to assemble peacefully and unarmed;  While that is article 123, our very first amendment is the right to peaceably assemble. And it doesn’t have the caveat “unarmed” after it. I don’t know about you but I have been to more than a few protests in my time and never ran into anyone wielding their Uzi during it. And despite what the Left wants you to think there hasn’t been a rash of right wingers going to Tea Parties threatening the politicians by pulling out guns!  So it would seem to me the true purpose of that was not to protect the protesters but to protect the government. So when they decided to bust in on a protest the only one with guns would be them!

Again you can see where the Left tried to emulate the truly freedom loving, Constitution of the U.S. and then once again got it wrong. There are nine individual rights given by the Weimar Constitution, not one of them mentions freedom of the press. Not one of them mentions the right to bear arms. Not one of them mentions the right to be seen before a judge if you are charged with a crime. It is these fundamental freedoms that make us a great and mighty nation and while they do try to give the people, religious liberty, it truly is not! There is nothing that isn’t under the government control and purview.   But as frightening as all of this nothing is as frightening as Article 48!

Article 48

“If a state (8) does not fulfill [sic] the obligations laid upon it by the Reich constitution or the Reich laws, the Reich President may use armed force to cause it to oblige. In case public safety is seriously threatened or disturbed, the Reich President may take the measures necessary to reestablish law and order, if necessary using armed force. In the pursuit of this aim, he may suspend the civil rights described in articles 114, 115, 117, 118, 123, 124 and 154, partially or entirely.”  [Emphasis mine]

Say what you want about Bush, the Patriot Act and our governmental system overall, I defy you to show me where it says in black and white that our civil rights may be partially or entirely suspended by the President! That is a scary thought. Article 48 was promoted by none other than Max Weber! It would be Article 48 that would give us the Nazi regime and the extermination of 5-6 million Jews! To give one individual such power is outrageous! It is an affront to liberty loving people everywhere to know one man has the power and authority to outright deny your civil rights without so much as a discussion about it.

Article 48 does try to reign in the tyrant by adding this line: The Reich President has to inform Reichstag immediately about all measures undertaken which are based on paragraphs 1 and 2 of this article. The measures have to be suspended immediately if Reichstag demands so. If danger is imminent, the state government may, for their specific territory, implement steps as described in paragraph 2. These steps have to be suspended if so demanded by the Reich President or the Reichstag. Further details are provided by Reich law.”  However, that doesn’t even begin to border on the logical. Do you really think if the President just ordered everyone’s civil rights to be suspended that somehow the Reichstag, in this case, will not be arrested, jailed or killed along with the others? Do you really think one person with unlimited unilateral power as you have just given him will all of a sudden listen to anyone else? The whole thing is preposterous! Yet Max Weber fought to get this in the Constitution, not out!

What is scary that is under FEMA this could very well be our future.  It took this kind of corrupt constitution to eliminate the rights from a whole group of people before exterminating them completely. FEMA also acts as our Article 48, giving power to the federal government, FEMA specifically, in times of “emergency.”  Read Fearing FEMA on this site to read what FEMA admits on its own site, what it is really practicing for-war!  There is also this: “Billions of dollars of new funding were directed to FEMA to help communities face the threat of terrorism. Just a few years past its 20th anniversary, FEMA was actively directing its “all-hazards” approach to disasters toward homeland security issues.”  Considering dissenting Americans were targeted by Homeland Security this past year, is it far-fetched to think FEMA has an all-hazards approach to squelching us? I don’t think so. Article 48 destroyed Germany. Will Executive Order 12127 (FEMA’s creator) destroy America? Not if I can help it!

Everything I Know About Government, I Learned in a Girls’ Group Home

DenaLeichnitzAmosFrom the time I was seventeen until I was kicked out at eighteen, I lived in a girls’ group home and some of the governmental mess I see happening now was taking place on a smaller scale back then. When I first walked into Aviva Center back in 1987, it was run by a great woman named Lois Tandy. She had been in charge of Aviva pretty much forever. She knew all the girls. She cared about all the girls. People felt like she was their mother. If you had to be away from your own family at least Lois made the experience a little more bearable. Girls (now women) who had lived in Aviva twenty years prior still remembered Lois fondly. Lois was like early America. It had its bumps and everything wasn’t perfect, some of us even felt like slaves, but we had good leadership. There was someone in charge who cared about the “country” and ran it with discipline but love. But like all good leaders, Lois eventually retired and we got the worst possible person to take over! Enter the Barack era of Aviva Center.

Andrew Diamond was his name (and no the names haven’t been changedAviva Center to protect the guilty!) and he was a tall, arrogant man. He had no time for the girls. His door was not open to us like Lois’ had been. The first thing he did when he got into power was start taking away rights. Up to that point, girls were allowed to read the Bible with staff members, with other girls, etc. Now granted, I was not a big fan of God back then and I would read the Satanic Bible, carry around my books on Witchcraft and once in awhile freak the girls out with my Satanic sounding voice-when you are locked up you got to make your own fun! Even so, I would listen as the staff tried to slap the devil out of me-figuratively speaking-by sharing the word of God with me. They knew most of this was for show and that I was angrier than anything else. They knew there was a mustard seed of faith in there and they tried to save me. But Andrew in his infinite wisdom decided,no one could talk about religion with another girl or a staff member. I truthfully feel it was to punish me for freaking the girls out with my voice and talking about Lilith-the Jewish female demon-a bit too much. We could go to church, but we had to get there on our own and we couldn’t go together. If we wanted to read any kind of Scripture or religious text, it had to be done in our rooms! He was a tyrant and it was his way or the highway! Lois looked for solutions that worked for all involved. She would be the Constitution. Andrew was the Communist Manifesto. His only solution was what would make life easier for him.

LegislatureLike the healthcare fiasco today, Andrew rushed through “legislation” he often had to go back and retract some of it because obviously his way was not working. He never took the time to sit and think, what would work best for these particular girls. He never asked our opinions on any of the changes. He never once had a “town hall” with us and let us know what was going on. He was a brute of a man who would hide up in his office and rarely made an appearance. Truthfully, I couldn’t pick him out of a line-up today because I saw him so rarely back then. The staff didn’t much care for him either. He didn’t care about how difficult he made their jobs or our lives. While no one expected him to be Lois (or maybe we did who knows) we did expect him to treat us like human beings and not like trash. We were in there because we had been treated that way our whole lives and to put a man in charge who had no compassion for us at all was the height of cruelty.

I will give this to Andrew, he made cherish my religious liberty all the Emma Smithmore. I actually hungered to talk to someone about the Bible. When he said I couldn’t-that is when I wanted to the most. The staff were careful and would still speak to me about it, making sure no one was around to hear us talk about it. I have already lived an existence where religious liberty was non-existent, I don’t ever want to go back to that era. Andrew thought the way to not to offend anyone was to take it away altogether. Instead of coming to me and going, “Dena, you are scaring the girls with this Satanic /Witchcraft thing, what’s going on? Is this what you truly believe?” and really talking to me and seeing what kind of compromise we could work out. He thought it would be easier just to ban the Bible….all the Bibles…hint hint. But even then God found a way.

China's flagAndrew’s way was the socialist way. Lois’ way was the American way. She believed in freedom of thought, freedom of belief, freedom to choose your own way. Andrew thought he knew better than us stupid little girls and since he had the job of taking care of us, he was going to do it with an iron fist. Andrew was a dictator, Lois was a leader. We followed Lois because we wanted to, she made us believe in ourselves and so we willingly wanted to please her. All Andrew brought us was hatred for authority, rebellion and a fear of “getting caught.” After graduating high school in June I was still there. I knew I had to leave in January because I would be turning 19, so I was working on getting what I needed together to leave. In October, I was told I had 30 days to leave. Had Lois been around I would’ve had until January. So I ended up in a shelter for thirty days and then one to a board and care. Andrew has left nothing but a bitter taste in my mouth all these years. I just hope God touched his heart and he became less of a monster through the years after I left.

shacklesHowever, Andrew showed me just what it is like living without true liberty. Living without freedom of religion, living under the boot of someone else. It is the kind of government we have under Obama. The days of Lois are fast becoming a thing of the past. Just as we all wept when Lois left, so shall we weep, when the Andrews are in full control. Listen to my words and harken unto them, I was sent to live that life so you would not have to. I was sent to be denied my freedom, so you could always keep yours. I was sent to have everything taken from me, including my right to know and worship God, so you would always have him in your life. I am not just your warning but I am your preserver. I have come to rescue you from the evil that is socialism. Don’t take my words lightly, or think they are some amusing anecdote. I am God’s humble servant, his beloved daughter as all of you are also his children. He wants what is best for you, what is best for America as do I. I have lived the worst, please don’t live it too.

Playing Catch Up

I have been on hiatus for awhile but I am back! So just because I wasn’t here doesn’t mean I wasn’t paying attention to the latest news or had no opinion on then. So let’s get started.

This is the Michael I loved and will always love

This is the Michael I loved and will always love

Let’s start with something we haven’t been able to escape-the death of Michael Jackson. I was a huge fan of his growing up but as we both aged, he seemed to become quite bizarre.  Granted, a lot of people are bizarre but his behavior bordered on the criminal with his behavior towards children. Though he was acquitted of the charges (or were they dropped I forget) there was something unsettling about his admission of sleeping with boys though nothing sexual was going on he said.  Even so, you don’t do that kind of thing.  When he died I was very much shaken. More so for me than for him or even his family. I was shaken because it felt like a piece of my history had died. I was shaken because the 19 year old boy who sung “Off the Wall” was now gone forever.  I was shaken for that 9 year old girl who  truly loved him as much as a nine year old girl can.  It was his memory I mourned, more than the man himself.  Congress wanted a resolution for Michael.  Obama sent condolences. The whole thing turned into a circus with Al Sharpton saying  to his kids at Michael’s memorial at the Staples Center that “your father wasn’t strange.” Yes, he was. Making them wear masks their whole lives is strange. Holding a baby over a balcony is strange. Sleeping with little boys is strange. To deny all that simply because the man is now dead is wrong.  It would have been better to avoid the topic altogether than to willfully lie to his children. Even if you think it will benefit them.

Next, we have a far more important death to talk about the one of Neda.Neda-freedom fighter The young woman protester in Iran who was murdered in broad daylight.  Her dying photo plastered across the internet. If anyone should have a resolution for them, it should be Neda, who sacrificed her life for the sake of freedom.  Neda has become the voice of  freedom for Iran, women in particular. Neda was killed after the elections in Iran were called into question.  Her fiance told reporters she was not politically affiliated with either side, she just wanted freedom for everyone.  Unfortunately Neda had the misfortune to die shortly before Michael Jackson and so her death got quickly tossed aside for the more sensational and weird circumstances surrounding Jackson’s demise. Though truthfully, I don’t know how much more sensational you can get than to be shot in cold blood and have it videotaped and sent to YouTube! If only Americans were as bold as Neda.  Maybe we wouldn’t have an imposter in the White House as well.

Manuel Zelaya-Honduran presidentHonduras-Obama has called the removal of President Zelaya by the Supreme Court  in his country, an illegal action. Well that is not surprising.  This is the same man who thinks our Constitution is a flawed document. This is the same man who refuses to submit his actual birth records to confirm he is eligible for the Presidency. This is a man who never met a communist he didn’t like. This is a man who has taken over GM, the banks and now is trying to take over health care in this country.  So it is no surprise he aligns himself with the likes of Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and other communist dictators. There was nothing remotely illegal about the ousting of Manuel Zelaya.  Zelaya is accused of trying to revise the Honduran Constitution while still in office, he says he was only doing opinion polls. Yeah and North Korea wasn’t really testing their missiles a few months back.  They were just testing their satellite systems. And if you believe that, I have a bridge I want to sell you.

Okay so that is some of the big stories that have happened since my hiatus. I promise next time I won’t be gone so long.

Oh My Goodness! I’m a Hippie!

aned3Some realizations are just more painful then others. This is one of those, I was joking at SGP that my son is going to grow up and tell people,  “Yeah all my family did growing up was protest the government.  It was like we were hippies but with morals.”  After that little realization hit me I sat down and wrote this piece. I hope it makes those wacky, Leftists who are calling us racists and threats to national security remember what it was like when it was their side being called that. And I hope it makes them stop, take a pause and for once in their life, actually do the right thing! Enjoy the reading!          ~Dena

As you think back on the sixties (at least from what I have been told gay-protestand read, I wasn’t there. LOL) and what described the “hippie” movement we are doing the same thing today but with a greater purpose-to restore God and country. But let’s look at some things we have in common with the hippies of yesterday.

lightbulb21) Pretty much started the homeschooling movement. Didn’t want their kids learning all that imperialistic garbage. You know things like how to bathe or the importance of having a job. And who homeschools today? Conservative Christians who don’t want their kids learning all that environmental garbage. You know things like light bulbs make the sun hotter or killing babies is good for Mother Earth.

2) Held protests about the government. Back then it was to get out us of adonai-and-generalViet Nam, make slaughtering the unborn legal and free STDs for everybody! Now with the Tea Party movement we have protests about the government, but this time it is to get us out of debt. To stem illegal immigration which is taking jobs from Americans and to uphold the law of the land, not to bend it, not to abolish it but to live by the Constitution and the principles it espouses.

trace-adkins3) Had their own music. From Jimi Hendrix to Bob Dylan, the music reflected what was going on with their anti-government scene. Nowadays it is country music that most reflects the conservative values in this country. Not every conservative listens to country music, but by and large the biggest fans of country music are conservatives. From Toby Keith to Trace Adkins, we revere the people who also revere our land.

dfd-family-pic24) Were counter-culture. The hippies were the counter-culture movement of their time. Working to bring about some of the most detrimental changes to our society. Espousing radical feminism which vilified husbands and children. Promoting dangerous alternative sexual identities and practices and becoming awash in hedonism. Now who is counter-culture? We are! As we work to bring God back to America, to allow women the opportunity to have children and stay home with them without feeling like a failure. We are working for the betterment of society by embracing traditional mores that lead us to greatness in the first place.  We are working to eliminate abortion but helping those with crisis pregnancies, solidifying marriage as between one man and one woman and not this anything goes mentality, making sure children have decent schools instead of the failing public schools we have today. These are the counter-culture’s objectives today.

5) Despised mainstream society and media so they built their own. microphoneWhether it was a pamphlet or a record company, the hippies of yesterday built their own media since they couldn’t depend on mainstream media to tell their side. Yet those hippie entrepreneurs of yesterday are now media moguls of today and today it is our side that cannot be told. It is the conservative movement that really has grabbed a hold of blogging online, Twitter and social networks like A Black Conservative Digest and others to get their stories out. The internet is fast catching up with the more traditional forms of communication (tv, radio, newspapers, etc) as where people turn to get their information. In 1994 only 2 percent of people got their news from the internet and by 2004 that figure had risen to 29 percent. Other forms of communication have dropped. In fact, television went from 72 percent to 60 percent during that same time (Trends, 2005, Washington DC: Pew Research Center, 2004, pp 42, 44-45) Conservatives absolutely despise how liberalism has become mainstream and doing what they can to stem the tide and bring society back into alignment with what is right and not just what “feels” right.

So there you have it! We are the new hippies. Maybe we need to come up with a new word. Instead of hippies we could be the chippies! Nah, let’s just stick with the Right, because after all, we are! But isn’t if funny the same things they fought for (homeschooling, the rights of parents to raise their children without government interference, to hold the government more accountable to the people, etc.) are now the same things we are fighting for and they are against. We’re the nutjobs now! But remember just a generation ago, you were fighting for the same thing-what happened? Oh I know you must’ve forgotten from all that LSD and pot you did. Never mind.

Tea Party Sponsor Joins A Black Conservative Digest!

Visit A Black Conservative Digest

One of the main sponsors for the Tax Day Tea Party is Americans for Limited Government and Carter L. Clews, who handles the press inquiries for them, has joinedA Black Conservative Digest Carter has also been the executive director of Laptop America (formerly Laptop Lobbyist) in fact, he is the one who discovered me and had me writing for Laptop America.

Bryan Malatesta who took over Laptop America after Carter’s bryan-malatestadeparture and now runs The American Ideal is also a member of A Black Conservative Digest.  Bryan heads the Constitution Party for his state, which is perfect because no one has tried to educate the public more about the Constitution and what it says and doesn’t say more than Bryan.

These are two, hard-working, patriotic men who are trying desperately to save this country from the impending communistic regime.  We all have to work together to make sure we maintain our basic freedoms.  Most people who are not Black are put off that is A Black Conservative Digest but I figure if 40 million White people can vote for Obama then they shouldn’t have any problem joining A Black Conservative Digest (ABCD).

ABCD was started to give Black conservatives  a place to have their voice heard but the true keyword in that title is conservative, not Black. Anyone who supports conservatism, no matter what color, religion, sex or any other difference can join. ABCD is for anyone who supports Black conservatives because let’s face it, we don’t get a lot of love in our own community. So come one, come all and let’s get more Americans, but especially Blacks who have been duped by leftists, to see the light!

Prop 8 Justices to Uphold the Will of the People?

Michael McKee wrote a piece that looks like the judges who took away our right to decide same sex marriage last time might actually follow the law this time around. So far this has been a fight of semantics.  Is it a revision or an amendment? Is it a marriage or a domestic partnership? And while they are fighting over words, some of us are fighting for the institution of marriage.  Counterfeits like domestic partnerships, civil unions and other such fraudulent unions also need to be done away with. Just like we don’t allow people to use counterfeit money to pay their debts (I wish we did because I have a whole bunch of Monopoly money that would get me out of debt in no time!) we shouldn’t allow counterfeit marriages to be considered legal and binding in the eyes of the law. Such counterfeits undermine the true institution of marriage and make a mockery of it.

Michael McKee wrote back in July 2008 that the conservative movement backing Prop. 8 was crumbling because there seemed to be a dispute about one of the backers.    http://www.law.com/jsp/article.jsp?id=1202423011880
Of course what people like Michael McKee and the liberal establishment fails to realize is that though the liberal world is identified by the organizations in which they belong, the conservative world is not. If I up and decided to leave AFA, FRC, Silent No More, Exodus International or any of the other organizations I associate with, I would still be conservative. My views are my views and not the property of FRC. Of course, we see just how accurate he was about us crumbling. We passed Prop. 8 and now it time to uphold the will of the people.

The justices have 90 days to make a decision regarding Prop 8 but it looks like this time they are going to do the right thing and uphold the amendment. It is the No on Prop 8 people who are running scared and who continue to try to wrap this up in a false dichotomy of equality versus discrimination.  However, none of their arguments are based on any sound theory or scientific fact.  Whereas,  social science has continually found that the nuclear family is the ideal for the upbringing of children.  Feelings and emotions are great within that familial structure but to base our society and civilization on such shaky and unproven theories,  let alone emotions  to make maladjusted adults feel better about their abnormality is grossly dangerous.  It is time to stop thinking about the adults and start thinking about children-they are the ones who suffer in all this.
