Colin Powell Hires Illegal Immigrants

I have never liked Colin Powell but I like him less as a conservative than I ever did as a liberal. It is this kind of weak-kneed liberal hogwash why we are in the mess we are in. It is disgraceful that liberals are always trying to paint criminals as the victims while completely ignoring the real victims of this mass invasion of our country.

While he talks about the need to protect our borders you can’t do that by letting everyone in. If anyone should understand this it is an Army General and the former Secretary of State for crying out loud. He goes on to say he is not happy to see the direction the Republican Party is going in.  Neither are we, Mr. Powell! People like you are calling yourself Republicans when in truth you are nothing but a traitorous liberal.

I was talking to my son as we were walking to his school and we started talking about immigration and he said and I quote “You just can’t let everyone into the country Mommy. What about the bad guys and the people who are sick!” HE WAS IN KINDERGARTEN WHEN UTTERED THOSE WORDS!!!

So you mean to tell me a 5 year old understands immigration in its most basic form and a four star general does not? Are you friggin’ kidding me with this. Granted my son is highly intelligent, more so than even most of the adults I know but come on people, it doesn’t take a genius to realize that in order to protect our borders you can’t let just anyone in. With the murder of Arizona rancher, Robert Krantz who was killed by an illegal invader a few months back, it is time we get serious about illegals!

As for Colin, if he is knowingly hiring illegals he should be brought up on charges for hiring people he knows are breaking the law. As a military man he is supposed to be about law and order. If a four star general is getting away with this what is stop anyone from doing the same. Until people like him are jailed or fined heavily, this will keep happening. And Colin there is no illegals working in my house and I resent you saying so!

Any way you look at this statement by Colin it does  not spell good news.

1) He is knowingly hiring people he knows are in this country illegally. As such he is betraying his own country and turning his back on her citizens by hiring these people.

2) He is just assuming every Hispanic guy who is fixing his house is here illegally when they could very well be legal residents or citizens.

So he is either complicit in a crime or he is straight up racist. Either way does not bode well for him.  Colin,  if this is how you are going to treat your country then please jump ship and go over to the rest of the America haters in the Democratic party.

The NAACP, The Tea Party and Me

As someone who attended the first Tea Party April 15, 2009 and has attended subsequent ones since then I find it infuriating the Tea Party is constantly being hurled with allegations of racism from people who have never been to one like the NAACP. I have never been insulted because of my color when I showed up at Tea Party rally. Do you think I would take my five year old son (now six) to an environment that would insult him and his mother’s heritage? Give me a break.

My son recently asked me, “Mommy when are we going to another rally?” This was after dragging him to every Tea Party, every End the Fed and every other conservative rally I could find for months on end.  Most of the time he didn’t want to go but I thought it was important for him to know we have to keep the government in check. We cannot let them get so out of control that they start taking away our liberties for “the good of all.” I often joked, he is going to grow up and go to every rally he can find and  protesting the government will become like breathing to him. Or he will hate rallies so much, he will sock you in the eye just for mentioning them. LOL. At least he will have something to talk about in therapy years from now, “Yeah my mother was always dragging me to one rally or another. It was like being a hippie but with morals.”

The NAACP has no idea what goes on at these rallies, so let me tell you what does. Unity-people are cordial to each other as we protest the overreaching government waste. Laughter-some of the signs I have seen have definitely given me a good laugh. People rarely scream (only when chanting slogans but other than that, no!) but laughter seems to fill the air. Brotherhood-there is a sense that we are all in this together and we need everyone to get us out of it. That without working as a team, things are not going to improve. Focus-while everyone comes from different backgrounds and different beliefs, the focus is on the fiscal responsibility of government and returning to the enumerated powers they have been given. The Constitution-you will often find people giving out pocket constitution. I got people w ho wanted to do my Constitution class online. The Constitution is the Guest of Honor at any Tea Party rally.

Are there racists in the Tea Party? Who knows, maybe but you couldn’t go by me because I have not run into a single one. I have not been made to feel unwelcomed at any Tea Party event. Everyone has always been friendly and I have been received with open arms. There has been a few comments like, “It is great to see a Black person here.” and if that is racism they really need to work harder on it. The only thing I can find “wrong” with that comment is that it focuses on me being Black instead of me being just another American wanting the best for my child and my country.

Have there been throngs of Blacks at the Tea Party rallies I have attended? No! But  that doesn’t mean there haven’t been any or that I was always the only one. There have been a few Blacks there whenever I went and if there is not more is because they have been duped by the liberal media thinking that even if they agreed with their cause they would not be welcomed. My poli sci teacher actually asked me if I was getting paid to attend these Tea Parties? Supposedly he was joking but it just goes to show how liberals think. That money is the driving force of everything and I couldn’t happen to believe in what they were saying unless I was getting paid for it. I believe in it because liberalism hasn’t produced one result in my life that ultimately enhanced it. I believe in conservatism because it has done more to motivate to change my circumstances than liberalism ever did. I believe in the cause of Tea Party because government in its best intention to help me has done more to keep down and impoverished than it has ever done to alleviate it.  I believe in the Tea Party because socialism hasn’t worked for me and I believe getting out of my way and allowing me to achieve my dream is what I and every person is entitled to.

So NAACP please shut up, you have no idea of what it is like for those of us who are Black and patriotic and attend the Tea Party.  You can’t have an idea because of your  hatred for America and everything it represents. Yes, America has not had a perfect history show me a nation that has, but America has done more to atone for  her sins than any other nation on Earth and continues to fight for liberty all around this globe and I resent you and your liberal buddies taking down my country. Now if you want to help it get back on its feet-more power to you. If you don’t, you need to get to steppin’  because your ignorance and vileness against Whites and the Tea Party will not be tolerated!

Tammy Bruce Joins ABCD!

The newest member of A Black Conservative Digest (ABCD) is none other than Tammy Bruce! When I went to check my new members  I was floored!  Tammy Bruce for the three people in the world who may not know her is a conservative talk show host and best selling author. She has written “A New American Revolution,” “The Death of Right and Wrong, ” and “The Thought Police.” 

Tammy is not your typical conservative. She,  in fact, is a former liberal. She was in the leadership of NOW and like every good liberal believed the world was out to get her, as demonstrated in this quote in an interview with John Hawkins, ” Imagine my shock when I realized through talk radio that the enemy wasn’t thinking day in and day out about me. And, most inexplicable, they didn’t hate me at all.”

I know that shock well.  I too felt it when I realized after 34 years that I was a Republican. Threw me for a loop, I had been fighting it years before that because I believed Republicans hated me. Only to find out the Dems who I thought were a friend to Black people were really the ones holding me back all along.  But only because I let them.  I take responsibility for my bonehead decisions.  However, part of those bonehead decisions were based on propaganda I believed and deliberate misinformation about certain behaviors.  But let’s get back to Tammy.

Tammy has gone on to be one of the biggest opponents of the Gay Elite in this country (that is actually her term) as demonstrated by this quote:  “In my book The Death of Right and Wrong I warn about the sexualization and targeting of children by the radical gay fringe. The announcement that a school in New York will open in September and be the first publicly run “gay high school” is a testament to that vile and loathsome agenda.   Do not be cowed with arguments that if you’re against this you’re a “homophobe.” In fact, the unforgivable crime is if we remain silent allowing children to be sacrificed on the altar of political correctness, as we sit and watch gay malignant narcissists make a wild grab for children. Well, it won’t be done in my name, and I contend that every decent hetero- and homosexual person out there should be equally outraged by this hideous action.”

Just another homophobe right? Not exactly, she is an openly gay woman.  Oh wait she must suffer from that internal homophobia.  No, she just has common sense something that is not highly regarded in the Gay Elite.  Tammy speaks the truth not because it is convenient for her or it suits her particular situation, she speaks it because it is the truth! I have a massive amount of respect for Tammy Bruce.

Tammy speaks with class and eloquence. She is truly an asset to the conservative movement and I am proud to have her on my site.  It is a testament to the conservative movement that two former liberals, one poor Black woman and one upper class White lesbian can both work together and put aside any of their differences to help better this country. It is also a testament of A Black Conservative Digest itself that all are welcome as long as they truly believe in the conservative ideals and want to put them into action.  That color, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, marital status, gender and nothing else stands in the way of one seeing the truth about the liberal disease that has affected our nation for far too long.

Oh My Goodness! I’m a Hippie!

Some realizations are just more painful then others. This is one of those, I was joking at SGP that my son is going to grow up and tell people,  “Yeah all my family did growing up was protest the government.  It was like we were hippies but with morals.”  After that little realization hit me I sat down and wrote this piece. I hope it makes those wacky, Leftists who are calling us racists and threats to national security remember what it was like when it was their side being called that. And I hope it makes them stop, take a pause and for once in their life, actually do the right thing! Enjoy the reading!          ~Dena

As you think back on the sixties (at least from what I have been told and read, I wasn’t there. LOL) and what described the “hippie” movement we are doing the same thing today but with a greater purpose-to restore God and country. But let’s look at some things we have in common with the hippies of yesterday.

1) Pretty much started the homeschooling movement. Didn’t want their kids learning all that imperialistic garbage. You know things like how to bathe or the importance of having a job. And who homeschools today? Conservative Christians who don’t want their kids learning all that environmental garbage. You know things like light bulbs make the sun hotter or killing babies is good for Mother Earth.

2) Held protests about the government. Back then it was to get out us of Viet Nam, make slaughtering the unborn legal and free STDs for everybody! Now with the Tea Party movement we have protests about the government, but this time it is to get us out of debt. To stem illegal immigration which is taking jobs from Americans and to uphold the law of the land, not to bend it, not to abolish it but to live by the Constitution and the principles it espouses.

3) Had their own music. From Jimi Hendrix to Bob Dylan, the music reflected what was going on with their anti-government scene. Nowadays it is country music that most reflects the conservative values in this country. Not every conservative listens to country music, but by and large the biggest fans of country music are conservatives. From Toby Keith to Trace Adkins, we revere the people who also revere our land.

4) Were counter-culture. The hippies were the counter-culture movement of their time. Working to bring about some of the most detrimental changes to our society. Espousing radical feminism which vilified husbands and children. Promoting dangerous alternative sexual identities and practices and becoming awash in hedonism. Now who is counter-culture? We are! As we work to bring God back to America, to allow women the opportunity to have children and stay home with them without feeling like a failure. We are working for the betterment of society by embracing traditional mores that lead us to greatness in the first place.  We are working to eliminate abortion but helping those with crisis pregnancies, solidifying marriage as between one man and one woman and not this anything goes mentality, making sure children have decent schools instead of the failing public schools we have today. These are the counter-culture’s objectives today.

5) Despised mainstream society and media so they built their own. Whether it was a pamphlet or a record company, the hippies of yesterday built their own media since they couldn’t depend on mainstream media to tell their side. Yet those hippie entrepreneurs of yesterday are now media moguls of today and today it is our side that cannot be told. It is the conservative movement that really has grabbed a hold of blogging online, Twitter and social networks like A Black Conservative Digest and others to get their stories out. The internet is fast catching up with the more traditional forms of communication (tv, radio, newspapers, etc) as where people turn to get their information. In 1994 only 2 percent of people got their news from the internet and by 2004 that figure had risen to 29 percent. Other forms of communication have dropped. In fact, television went from 72 percent to 60 percent during that same time (Trends, 2005, Washington DC: Pew Research Center, 2004, pp 42, 44-45) Conservatives absolutely despise how liberalism has become mainstream and doing what they can to stem the tide and bring society back into alignment with what is right and not just what “feels” right.

So there you have it! We are the new hippies. Maybe we need to come up with a new word. Instead of hippies we could be the chippies! Nah, let’s just stick with the Right, because after all, we are! But isn’t if funny the same things they fought for (homeschooling, the rights of parents to raise their children without government interference, to hold the government more accountable to the people, etc.) are now the same things we are fighting for and they are against. We’re the nutjobs now! But remember just a generation ago, you were fighting for the same thing-what happened? Oh I know you must’ve forgotten from all that LSD and pot you did. Never mind.

Stahling the Legislature

There is a special election in California on May 19, 2009! Make sure you get out and vote. Most of the propositions on the ballot deal with budgetary issues. One issue that is on the ballot is 1F. It says the Legislature forgoes pay raises in the year that there is a budget deficit. I think that is only logical. If everyone else is hurting they shouldn’t be getting raises on the backs of their constituents. The only person who turned in a con to that measure is a guy named Pete Stahl of Pete Rates the Propositions.

This is the kind of nonsense he is spewing (makes me wonder if he is getting some kind of kickback from the Legislature to oppose it) How is this for horse manure?

“Regardless of party members of the Legislature are deeply caring, diligent, patriotic people who truly love the communities they represent and serve.”

Oh give me break! Most politicians are sneaky, greedy, backstabbing people! That is why they get into politics! Once in a blue moon, a Sarah Palin comes along but for the most part we are dealing with weasels-not noble statesmen!

Then there is this gem:  “Freezing salaries will not loosen politicians commitment to their ideologies. You cannot get conservative legislators to support tax increases just by threatening to cancel their raises. Similarly liberal legislators will never agree to cuts in social programs just to increase their pay!”

What planet is this man on? Of course people will do whatever they can to get more money! How many times have our “conservative” politicians failed us just because it served them to do so? They weren’t thinking about us, they were thinking about re-election or how they will be perceived but certainly not their ideologies. Eddie Murphy’s “Distinguished Gentlemen” showed how easy it is to play both sides of the field. The lobbyist throw money at the politicians left and right (pardon the pun) , so if you want to come down in favor of gun control-you have special interest on that side that will pay you. If you want to come down in favor the second amendment-well there are plenty of groups that will pay you to vote for their side. So don’t insult our intelligence by telling us that money will not affect how a politician votes-of course it does!

Lastly there is this inane statement:  The current salary for nearly all legislators is $116,208. In most of California that is solidly middle class compensation!

No it is not! Middle class means the median income and the median income is not $116,208! It is more like $49,500 and that is not nationally but IN CALIFORNIA!!!    Just the Facts (this was taken from a website detailing the state of women in California, however the last statistic was for all sources of income, excluding wife’s earnings. When you add the wife’s earning the median income is $70,000-still a far cry from 116, 208 dollars!)  What California is this guy living in that he thinks the average citizen is pulling down six figures? The middle class is quickly evaporating in this country but especially in California. There is no solidly middle class in California. There is poor and rich! And the gap keeps getting wider. Remember the middle class support both the poor and rich. The poor through social programs and the rich through their labors. You can only stretch the middle class so far before they unable to sustain it anymore and the whole economic situation goes to pot!

Stahl-just another cuckoo!

No wonder this guy stands alone in his defense of giving legislators more money even their constituents are hurting financially, he is a veritable loon! Only someone with limited mental facilities could deliver such hogwash and believe it to be so. The Propositions we will be voting on during this special election are: 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, and 1F

And I Thought I Was The Mother of All Conservatives

There is a new website called, “The Mother of All Conservatives.”  You can find it on my blogroll and was started by Dana Loesch. Dana Loesch is also known as Mamalogues (you can read about my mention in her blog entitled, “Black N Right mentioned in Mamalogues.”) She has joined other women in this endeavor.  It is sort of like Smart Girl Politics, where the best and the brightest women of the conservative movement meet.  However, unlike Smart Girls Politics you cannot join.  Which is a shame because Dana is obviously a bright woman who it would be great to get to  know better and leaving a comment now and then doesn’t really cut it.

Dana is not an over the hill, fuddy duddy like me. LOL. She is a young woman who sees the way to restore this country is not by repeating the liberal mistakes that have torn down our important institutions and replaced them with hedonism and immorality but by clinging to the American values that have succeeded in making our country great in the first place.  What Democrats seem to forget is that is the Republicans that have always been on the forefront of change,  positive change that would influence our country to further greatness. It is the Republicans that ended slavery, it was a Republican House that advanced the civil rights bill to end segregation, it was a Republican President that sent the National Guard to Little Rock, Arkansas so four Black children could attend school. It was the Republicans who first brought to our attention the slave trade in Dafur.  It has always been the Republicans that have done the most to help people in the most dire of circumstances. And with people like Dana standing up and speaking out on behalf of true Republicans everywhere, we can once again become the party of the people.  A claim which Democrats have surreptitiously taken as their own.

God bless Dana (I just love her name. Probably because people for some reason seem unable to say DE-NA and so I get called Dana more than you would know.) and all the other “mothers” out there who are reclaiming the Republican Party as our own.  With leadership like Dana, Teri Christoph and Sarah Palin we will be taking down the outmoded feminist leadership before long.

Fairness Doctrine-Will It Go Through?

The conservative blogosphere is chattering about the impending Fairness Doctrine and it seems to have them running scared, but I don’t see why.  Actually, I feel if just one conservative would just stand up and say, “Hey that’s a great idea! Bring it on!” that the liberals would back down immediately. Not only that if they actually had to supply the conservative side to each newspaper editorial,  each news broadcast and each television show, they would stop it on their own.  The liberal bias that they say doesn’t exist would be undoubtedly exposed and they would only have themselves to blame.  The Fairness Doctrine does more to hurt the liberals then it does to hurt conservatives.  Conservatives shouldn’t shriek from the Fairness Doctrine but should use it to their own advantage.  Should NBC, which must stand for Now Banning Christianity, decide it doesn’t want to give equal time to the conservative side of issues, we could sue the pants off them!

The Fairness Doctrine would actually mean that the media would be held accountable for not listening to our side for a change.  Of course, I understand the reasons most conservatives are speaking out against it  because the liberals are trying to use it to shut down conservative opinion and free speech shouldn’t be squelched because one does not agree with it.  The thing is liberalism is dying, despite the Obama victory.  The liberals know this and that is why they want the Fairness Doctrine, so give it to them-let America hear the lunancy of their ideology as opposed to conservatism.  Liberals will hang themselves if we give them enough rope.  And the Fairness Doctrine is that rope!

Liberal Guys vs. Conservative Guys

Liberals think they have it all over us conservatives,  especially in terms of who is more desirable of the two.  But I would like to give my undying devotion to all the conservative guys out there. They have it all over liberal guys.  These are my reasons liberal guys will never hold a candle to my conservative men

1) Liberal guys are wusses. All a conservative guy would need to do is blink at them and the liberal guy would cower in the corner.  Conservatives are tough, rugged and so very handsome.  Toby Keith is a prime example of that rugged masculinity that is just so darn enticing.  Trace Adkins is another one,  okay let me stop before I get all hot and bothered and scorch my keyboard.

2) Conservative guys stand for their principles.  Now because they are human they don’t always live up to their own ideals but they don’t simply trash them because they messed up. They figure out how to correct their behavior not how to correct their morality.

3) Conservative guys are more likely to have guns, so if some liberal on acid starts messing with me, my conservative man can handle it.  You feel safer walking with a man who is not afraid to throw a punch if he has to then someone whos e pacifism is so extreme that he would rather talk to the guy raping you then lift a finger to help you.

4) Conservative guys are more interesting. While all liberal guys sound the same, conservative guys always have something new to talk about. They are more educated when it comes to politics, religion, current events and foreign affairs. I have had to learn more about these things just not to sound completely devoid of  any knowledge. I still have a long ways to go but I am learning and my conservative guys are so sweet and kind that they are teaching me.

5) Which brings me to my next point, conservative guys are genuinely sweet. It is not that fake sensitive crap that liberals wear like new jeans.  It is just a part of their character.  They don’t cry at chick flicks but will break down when their dog dies.  They may not buy you flowers, but if you need a new computer they will get you one (Hi Kenny!) It is the small things they do to show they care. They just have the best hearts.

6) Lastly conservative men are the men you call upon when you need this country defended. They are the men who lead the churches, they are the men who love their family. All in all conservative men are sexy, intelligent and know how to make a woman feel like a woman. That is why I love conservative men.

The Myth of the Black Conservatives

I am sick and tired of people like Cornel West, Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson trying to define black conservatism for the many men and women like myself that are Black and conservative. They paint a picture of an elitist, arrogant, out of touch Black person who hates the Black skin they were born in. For years, I thought the same because of the brainwashing I received at the hands of the liberal media. Little did I know I would become one myself.

So I am here to bust some myths!

1) All Black conservatives are rich and upwardly mobile. No poor Blacks are conservatives.

Wow! So living hand to mouth like I do means I’m “upwardly mobile.” Who knew? Conservatism has nothing to do with money and everything to do with values. It is the liberals who are obsessed with money, prestige and other false trappings. They are the ones running Hollywood, they are the ones who live life in the fast lane. Most conservatives are simple, church going, law-abiding, tax-paying citizens. And for people like me on the tax receiving end of the spectrum I am forever thankful to the American taxpayer for helping survive these last 20 years and plan to do what I can to help them carry the load by returning to school and getting a career I can do that will benefit more than myself. Poverty isn’t an accurate predictor of liberalism but valuing work of any kind, especially stay at home mothers, is a good predictor of who is conservative.

2) Black conservative don’t understand the social issues facing regular Black folks.

It is actually the Black liberals who wish to stick their head in the sand, not Black conservatives. We have been talking about the devastating effects abortion has upon our community, specifically, and all we get back in return is Black liberals sticking their fingers into their ears and going “La! La! La! La! I can’t hear you!” Never mind that 3 out 5 Black babies or sixty percent of Black children die in the womb! That is not racism, that is not worth mentioning, that is not worth fighting. Our children are not valued and they have no concern over what happens to them. They are just a bunch of ghetto punks anyway, who needs them!

They don’t want to hear how welfare has not been a boon to Black folks but has done more harm by removing the father from the home, by penalizing them for getting married, by making them choose between self-sufficiency and their medication. They don’t talk about how we are letting our kids down by not educating them sufficiently. We would rather give the a PSP then a future Ph.D. The Oreo Complex (hating Black children for being smart and telling them they are acting “White”) has done more to hurt our children then slavery, segregation and racism could ever hope to do. In fact, it is Black liberals who have perpetuated this ugliness in our community. The liberals have long fallen out of touch with reality, let alone the Black community.

3) Black conservatives are pawns of the White establishment and are racist against their own people.

Really how many Black conservatives sit there and address other Blacks by the slang term, “My nigga?” Yet it is done everyday by those who are a lot more liberal. That denotes far more racist attitudes against their own people then anything a Black conservative has done. They say well conservatives are not for affirmative action. And it is still needed to level the playing field. I can understand that but what conservatives preach is far more equitable. Conservatives say, Blacks are no less intelligent or inferior to White people and they should be held to the same standards in regards to employment and education as anyone else. To promote affirmative actions is to say the are incapable of being judged on their own merit and should only be judged on their skin color-that is wrong. This is the way I see it, race should be the LAST factor in determining contracts, scholarships, etc. If you have two candidates, one poor Black one and one rich White one and they have similar grades, similar extracurricular activities, similar work experience but you want to give the poor Black kid a break in this instance, I don’t see it as reverse discrimination. He has earned it just as much as the other candidate. It only becomes so to give an inferior candidate preferential treatment based on nothing but their sex or ethnicity.

4) Black conservatives, like their White counterparts, are nothing but Christian bigots who want America to be a theoracy.

Liberals are no fans of those professing faith and the reason they are so resistant is because their own lives are filled with so much sin that they don’t want to have to look at their own lives and change according to God’s will. The founding fathers were overwhelmingly Christian and as such America started out as a “Christian theocracy” since most of its governing bodies and rules were based on biblical principles. If being a Christian nation is so evil, we did we become the fastest growing and most successful nation in the world? Why are people still breaking their necks to get into our country? You don’t see them risking life and limb to break into El Salvador! It is exactly because of our initial governance by God that we have the prosperity we have today. It was when we started taking God out of everything that this country went downhill. If liberals could read maybe they could read the Bible and begin to understand that success and failure of a nation and its people is dependent on its belief in the Almighty. This has been true since the beginning of time but liberals refuse to learn history’s lessons.

As far as the bigotry goes, it is the Liberal Left that consistently promotes prejudice for those who don’t think like them. It is the Left that thinks so low of Blacks that they think they are incapable of achieving any kind of success without a hand out from them. It is not the conservatives who display bigotry, it is the conservatives that fight against it while the liberals consistently try to promote stereotypes. Lastly, it is Christians who are more open to those who are not Christian than the secularists are of those who have faith. It is because of the persecution of Christians that other faiths found asylum in our land. The secularist would never have put out such a red carpet.

In closing, Black conservatives are not an anomaly in the Black community, we are the Black community, it is the Black liberals who are sorely out of place and out of touch.

Fairness Indoctrination….Oops Doctrine

So once again the Left are trying to silence conservative talk! They want to resurrect theFairness Doctrine which says both sides must be presented in the media. However this does not apply to mainstream media which is overrun by liberals, only to talk radio which conservatives rule. To tell the truth, I don’t even listen to talk radio. I get all my conservative news from FRC, AFA, Life Site News and Life News via email. However, just because I don’t listen to it doesn’t mean I want big government to step in and try to censor what is aired.

But as long as the liberals want to play this game, I say let’s play! If we are going to do the Fairness Doctrine that means I get a half hour of Oprah’s show! That’s right baby, since she clearly is liberal and I am clearly not and we need to present both sides of the issues to the public, I should have a half hour of her show where I can reach out to conservative audiences!

I also get to hijack Ellen’s show as well. Isn’t this fun? And anytime she brings up some lesbian issue, I get to jump in and give the conservative straight woman side as well. Or maybe to be more fair we could Larry Elder on there, so he can give the Black conservative male side. That would be balanced right? After all, he is the polar opposite of Ellen right?

I mean just think of all the mainstream media we can force to give us time due to the Fairness Doctrine. The newspapers, the magazines, the television shows, the total control of all the media outlets-they want to give all that up because us conservatives get together and talk on the radio or send email on the internet. Ooh the big, bad conservatives are getting ratings on the radio! It is like being angry over your friends Atari System when you have PSP! Of course, what they see happening is that people are getting their news from alternative sources. They are not reading the New York Times or listening to the biased evening news. They are online, they are blogging, they are going to YouTube. This upsets the liberal media because they can no longer control the flow of information. Before they were able to hide, cover up and straight out lie to the American people about what was going on, especially with their beloved liberal leaders, (*coughs* Obama!) but no more.

Remember these are the same people whose newest President called the Constitution “a flawed document.” These are the same people whose newest President thinks people in Pennsylvania cling to religion and guns because they are so bitter. These are the same people who created Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae housing nightmare and then blamed it on the Republicans! These are not fair minded people. These people are not caring about liberties or freedom of the press (unless it is their press and they can bash Bush! What are they going to write about when he leaves in January I wonder.) they care only about controlling the lives and thoughts of everyone.

The Fairness Doctrine is just one more step in this total annihilation of American democracy. It is about the complete elimination of civil liberties and the freedom to express ideas without the consent of the government. However, if they want to do this then I say we get every conservative lawyer we can to sue the pants off every station that does not adhere to it. We sue every radio station, every magazine, every newspaper and say they are not adhering to the Fairness Doctrine. After all that they would realize it is not worth it and leave us alone!

Ah the Left-do they never tire of being wrong? I guess not.

Sarah Palin and the Conservative Women’s Movement

Sarah Palin did more than just revitalize the conservative base of the Republican party who after years of dealing with RINOs had someone just like them running for the second highest post in the nation. Sarah Palin gave women like me a voice and a role model to emulate. Someone who had the same concerns, desires and goals for not only America but for family as we did. Someone who didn’t act like they swallowed a Roget’s Thesaurus and put on airs of superiority.

The feminists hated Palin because she was everything they were not. Married, happy and the governor of the largest state in the Union! She stepped on their toes, because she considered herself a hockey Mom before anything else. It was her children that meant the most to her, not her governorship, though she did take that office very seriously. She believes in God and through her political office she often would often speak at Christian events. [But if Obama wanted to speak at Satanists for Choice that wouldn't be a problem.] So because she used her position to glorify Jesus Christ she is a menace that needs to be dealt with. Her greatest sin however is she didn’t abort her child Trig because of his Down’s Syndrome. Instead she and Todd had him and love him. How dare she! She had no right to bring a child like Trig in this world, she should’ve done the right thing-at least in their eyes-and aborted him.

Conservative women like me learned long ago that feminist women are worse than the misogynistic men they claim to fight. For they seek to control every aspect of their adherent’s life. So the true independent thinkers are not feminist women who all regurgitate the same party line but the conservative women. She will not be told what to do, especially by a bunch of unhappy, bitter women who despise their innate femininity. Conservative women do not need to behave like tramps in order to secure a man. They do not need to flaunt their body to create an aura of mystique. They do not need to undervalue children to value their career. Even if that “career” is a stay at home mother. Conservative women give more to help the underprivileged then liberal women will ever give. It is her connection to God, family and country that make the conservative woman a leader in her community.

Sarah is proof of this. With Sarah, we found someone who speaks our language. Someone who shares our ideals. Someone who has tremendous success without having to sacrifice those things most important to her. Sarah has become our champion for all those who are proud to be Moms. Sarah has ignited a fire not only in the conservative women, but the conservative man as well. I have a male friend who is simply crazy about her and attributes the rekindling of his passion for politics to her. This is the magic of Sarah, she reaches out to everyone. Young, old, rich, poor, men, women, Black and White. In a recent poll, sixty percent of Republicans, you know those who actually vote and not the sorry political pundits, say Sarah Palin actually HELPED John McCain, not hurt him.

Feminist women are trying to say Sarah doesn’t speak for women. Well sorry to burst your bubble, sister but neither do you! Women can speak for themselves they don’t need the likes of you trying to brainwash them. Sarah spoke for herself and as such she ended up speaking for millions of women like me. Not all women, but a whole lot more than who the feminists supposedly speak for. There is one good thing about Obama and his impending presidency, he has awakened the conservative movement. We were all too complacent beforehand. Now we have focus, we have a mission-he has given us back the will to fight the liberal establishment. And the people at the forefront of this new conservative movement will be women. As he seeks to protect abortionists and bloody our wombs, we will be there. As he seeks to take away school choice for parents, we will be there. As he seeks to open the borders and let illegals slay us, we will be there. As he seeks to sit down with terrorists and create more 9/11s, we will be there. We are not backing down. We are not quitting. We will reign victorious because we have a righteous army of women standing up to evil! We are the new conservative movement and we are a force to be reckoned with!
